"MAYY!!!" i scream happily after getting off the phone with my Agent (i still do acting)
"KACY!!!!" she screams back.
I run her room jumping up and down about to start crying, ""I GOT DISCOVERED!!!!!!!!!" i scream and run to hug her now crying.
"oh my god!!!! YAYYYYYYYY!!!!" she screams in my ear. "by who!?" she pushes me away from the hug so we can talk,
I try and calm myself " i got discovered by THE TYLER PERRY!!!!" i scream and jump up and down on her bed.
"Does this mean your moving to Atlanta?" she asks sounding serious.
"Maybe?" i say unsure, i might but i might not because i have no Adult to watch over me, and right now I'm considered a teenage runaway.
Right then i get a call from my mother. I answer,
"Hi" i say
"hi, i wanted to know if you were ever coming home?" she says sounding upset.
"no, but mom guess-" before i finish my sentence i hear her burst into tears.
"mom?" i ask "are you okay?" i ask again.
"your sister moved out and" she starts crying again, "and now your gone." she says huffing and puffing.
"mom, i cant come home." i say
"i know" she says still crying.
"do you even know why?" i ask knowing that she has no clue.
"no" she says crying.
"because that house makes me insane, that family makes me sad, you make me cry, your kids kill me, and your husband was no help with my stress. Houses like that aren't fit for me, or any teenager for that fact. You never let me leave, you never trusted me because of the things YOU did when you were my age, you never got to understand what i wanted or even needed. You never tried to protect me from heart break or help me with homework. If only you would've tried to help me, then maybe, just maybe id still be at YOUR house doing YOUR shit Because you cant take care of yourself, and i have a question, Why would you have another kid if you cant even take care of the 3 you had? Let alone just your 3 year old cant do half the things i could when i was 3. You had more time then right? You were prepared and didn't even have help right? Well try again and this time if they try and leave maybe you'll stop them and tell them sorry for being such a bitch ill try harder this time." i breath heavy after saying that and trying yo be calm.
I hear her sobbing a little faintly in the background. "im sorry" she finally says.
"its to late to apologize" i say chocking up. "i never thought i would have the balls to leave, never, i actually thought i could make it 4 more years, but i cant. I couldn't do it anymore it was either i leave or i take my life, but the second never really got your attention now did it? Nope you yelled at em you didn't help me, you yelled at me and threatened to send me away. Do you know how that feels? To have your own mom tell you your crazy and say you need help, THEN NOT PROVIDE YOU WITH E HELP SHE SAYS YOU NEED!!!" ii start getting loud and May mouth 'shhh calm down' so i try.
"it hard being a mom okay." she says.
"you had me" i say back instantly
"why are you so full of hate and anger?" she asks
"maybe because its what i grew up around! Maybe because i had to find a way to get your attention and me being nice never FUCKING WORKED!!!!" i yell through the phone and wait for a reply.
"oh" is all she said,
"would you be willing to sign papers to hand me over to someone else, because I'm not moving back in, id rather die." i say
"Yes, i actually would love to sign YOUR ASS over to someone else so i don't have to deal with this bull shit anymore!" she yells.
"Perfect," i say and run down stairs to mama Boxen
"hi, would you be willing to take me as your child if my mom handed me over to you?" i ask
"awh hunny of course if thats what your mother is saying." she says and hugs me.
"Sign me over to mrs.Boxen." i say
"fine, let me talk to her" i hand mama Boxen the phone and walk away back upstairs, to May where i instantly fall to her bed and cry in her lap.
"she just gave me up, i wanted that. I think, but i was expecting at least some kind of fight." i mutter crying to her.
"hi hunny" mama Boxen says walking into May's rooms handing me my phone,
"me and your mother will go down to the court house tomorrow. Would you like to come?" she asks kneeling down to my level.
"um no" i say "i have a photo shoot," i say sitting up. "my grandmother is taking me, then i have a meeting after with my Agent." i say
"Okay well tell me if you need anything." she says standing up and leaving.
I eat dinner silently and go to bed, in the morning i feel like complete and utter shit, i take a shower and blow dry my hair, i wasn't allowed to do anything wi it or have on any make up, i packed my bad for my shot and then went down stairs to eat then came back upstairs and brushed my teeth.
When my grandmother came and got me i told her everything.
"Well why didn't you ask yo come live with me?" she asks
"May's house is close to school and I'm already going to Cary high next year so theres no point on switching." i say looking straight ahead.
I have my photo shot then wait for my Agent to come in and then go to my meeting.
"Kacy" she says and hugs me
"Janet!" i say hugging her back.
"how are you?" she asks
"stressed" i say pocking my lip out then smiling giggly.
"aw well lets get straight to it. Shall we?" she asks
"yes please" i beg and laugh.
"well you were discovered by Tyler Perry, and thats a big big deal, considering you only started a year ago." she starts.. She says more but it was more for my grandma to hear.
"But you will not have to move, but you will be traveling for the next 5 months back and forth from North Carolina to Atlanta." she says i instantly smile, i love traveling and just being in airports and planes, i love it! Even considering what happened.
"YAY" i say smiling ear t ear.
"you will not have to pay for these flights, mr.Perry will pay for you there and back. And the first time you are allowed 1 friend or parent." she says
Yay! Yay! Oh my! Who!? MAY!! Duh in mean her mother is taking me in as her own.
We finish the meeting and when i get home i tell May everything and she cant wait to go with me, i tell Mama Boxen then she tell me everything went fine at the court house and that i am now legally her child, and that we have to go down to my new high school next year to change some things. I say okay and thank her and go to my room. I sleep, for a long time. When i wake up its 12 am, Nd i take off my pants and go on tumblr for a few hours.
