Chapter 4 : Moving on-Already!

"What?!" I just can't believe what Effie told me about school today.

"Ash, calm down. Kelsey doesn't seem that bad. And besides, for how long will you feel that way about Matt? You know for yourself that it's pointless." Effie sounded very calm but seems like she's scolding me about my feelings for Matt.

"But, Effie!!!" I just don't know what else to say. She has a point.

"But Ashley. You and everyone knows how beautiful you are. Stop focusing on just Matt. Matt's a great guy. Really great friend. It's not his bad for not feeling the same way about you. But it's surely his loss for not seing your potential of being the best girl that a guy could have." Is this really Effie that I'm talking with right now?

"Effie, is this really you? You have a point. What you said is perfectly right. That's not the normal Effie that I know." I said with a little amount of humor and a whole lotta amazement on what Effie just said.

"You know what? For a depressed person, I think you've already half-moved on. You're crazy as ever. You okay now?"

"I guess I am. Kind of... Only because I have the best friend that I could ever wish for. Aside from beyoncé. Bacause, honestly, having that big of a star as a bestfriend doesn't seem so bad at all. *laughs*"

"Anyway, Ash, are you physically feeling alright now? Let's hang tomorrow or something." Said Effie with a tad bit of an energy.

"I'm kinda feeling better now. I just felt down this morning, and doesn't feel like seeing Matt around. That's all. But, yep. I'm up for tomorrow. Let's shop and have coffee?" I responded.

"Sounds great! See ya' tomorrow then!"

"See ya'." And with that, I hung up and lie flat on my stomach on my bed.

Effie has a point. And Mattie never lead me on or gave me false signals. Maybe I should just forget about him. I know it won't be that easy. But, atleast i'll try now.
