I survived my first week on my new school. I'm glad I made friends already. I hope everything goes well for the rest of the term for me.

I turned to my smart phone to check my SNS. Oh, I have a friend invitation from... Matthew Higgins? Oh, it's Matt. I clicked accept.

I typed in a new status on my SNS.

"Bored. -eating skittles"

In just a few seconds, a red symbol appeared in my notification icon.

And there goes another ping from my phone. A messagee from Matt.

Matthew Higgins: hey! :)

Me: hey yourself.

Matthew Higgins: bored? You wanna do something else than just eating skittles? :)

Me: Nah. I think I'm cool. I'll find something to do around here I think. Thanks though. :)

Matthew Higgins: Oh c'mon. It's the second time that you turned down my offer.

Me: At the cafeteria, even if I said no thanks, I was left with no choice. Lol.

Matthew Higgins: But admit it. You enjoyed our company. :)

Me: Yeah, you guys weren't so bad. :)

Matthew Higgins: We were cool, right? C'mon, let's hang out. I'll message the rest of the gang as well. :)

I kind of smiled at Matt's irresistable offer. I guess it won't hurt giving it a try. Plus, I also want to get familiar aound this town. So I typed away.

Me: I guess you're leaving me with no choice again. I'm not that familiar with the places around here though. Where should we meet up?

Matthew Higgins: just give me your address, and we'll come and pick you up there around 4. Would that be fine? :)

Me: Alright. 1103 3rd street, shelton ave. See you.

Matthew Higgins: Cool. I live just 2 blocks away from your house. See you. :)

After reading Matt's last response. I made my way down to tell my mom that I'm going out. And of course she said yes. Mom's glad that I already made friends here.

After half an hour, Matt is already outside together with Jared.

"Hop in! We'll pick up Ashley and Effie as well, and we'll just meet Flint at Barton's." Matt said as he rolled down the window.
