I really like Hanahaki disease stuff. It's just interesting to me, and I love how sad good writers can make it. (I probably won't be able to achieve very much sadness with my writing piece, unfortunately..)
I'm still trying to decide why Sparkfoot's love is unrequited (thus causing the disease). I know that he's gonna be crushing on a tom named Thickethope and that Thickethope isn't not interested because he's not into other toms. (In plainer language: he likes other toms, but is gonna not be interested in Spark for separate reasons)
I kinda wanna do it on how Thicket doesn't understand his trans-ness and finds it revolting (an opinion I do NOT share whatsoever, but I unfortunately see from a lot of other people), but then I could go in two different directions: -A bit of a heartwarming story about how Spark (in his own grumpy way) shows Thicket why he's no less a tom than any of the others and the disease is cured that way -A less happy story where Thicket refuses to see the truth and Spark's disease continues to worsen. Maybe even a story with no resolution at all, just for sadness 👍👍
But, on the other hand, transphobia might be too heavy a topic in general?? I don't know. I'll play around with ideas for a little while before I start writing, I'll come up with something, I'm sure.
