One of the voices we recognized happened to be Vor. Of course it was. But this wasnt the earth Vor we all know. It in fact was void Vor with his stupid Janus key and shit. The other voice we recognized was Ghaul. Sure, makes sense simce we are mixing the games.
"Oh, look what we have here. Another Tenno come to scavenge and desecrate," Vor dictates.
"And of course a worthless guardian. Your light is mine!" Ghaul chimes in.
The third voice that was not recognized has yet to show themself but does say "Don't forget about the monstrosity in between them. Do you think you can actually help anyone?"
My team was more than shocked at the sight before us. I think it is safe to say I was most shocked. That feeling intensified when I noticed three bright lights charging up. It didnt take long for me to yell at the top of my lungs "SCATTER!" As Cerberus ran towards a rock, and Brimstone ran behind the kubrow nest, I was without a hiding place. The next thing I knew I was enveloped in void, solar, and arc light. And it stung like a bitch. But yet I wasn't being fried.
"What is this? The monstrosity lives!? Fire again!" And with that another round of lasers were launched at me. And I absorbed them all. But the power absorbed from the beams was instantly redirected back at Vor and Ghaul. The two villains were then gone after the dust cleared and all that could be heard was "This is not over team Hellfire. We will be back."
"So. That was a thing that happened" said Cerberus.
"Yyyyyyup. And nobody got hurt," added Brimstone. "Right Hades?" As they turn to me, I collapse onto my knees half awake. I can barely make out their voices: "Hurry pick him up. I know where we can take him without needing to leave the planet." And I pass out as I'm hoisted by Cerberus.
Cerberus' point of view
I pick up Hades and run after Brimstone. He said something about a town or camp nearby we can take him to. This should also help him get his tenno powers refined or whatever.
After 3 and a half hours of walking we finally reach the gates of a village. "Woah, look at the Orokin structures," brimstone exclaims. I look up to see a fleshy building about 5 stories high being cut by... Farmers? I continue following Brimstone until we get stopped by ghost. "Incoming transmission. Would you like me to adjust for the signal?"
"Yes ghost"
"Playing message: -no? Tenno can you hear me? Do you copy? Ordis, try something else we have-"
Brimstone catches on quickly, "Lotus! Oh I'm so glad to hear you! I'm here, I'm safe, and I'm a child. Skip the lore and get my Liset, War, and Excalibur"
"Alright tenno. Ordis is pinpointing your location... You're in Cetus correct?"
"Yep"
"Sending your requested items. I'll keep in touch."
"So.... We wait for your shit to get here or do we get Hades his medical attention?" I eagerly question. I can't have him dying on me. I just can't.
"Uh right. Go inside and look for konzu. He might know what to do. Meanwhile I retrieve my overdue gear, do a quest, get my tenno amp, and I'm able to help you guys more than I am now. Sound good?" He smiles slightly. Does he not see the danger in being the characters right now?
"Good? Good!? No this doesnt sound good. I have no idea what I'm doing, the Ostrons only might be able to help, the only person able to fully fight whatever shitstorm headed towards us is out for the count, and you want me to sit in this farmer's market waiting for you!?"
"Then go into the plains, do some questing or bounties I dont know man. Find something useful for Hades when he wakes up. Get him a promise ring for all I care. But I have to do this quest in order to be anymore help to your cause alright?" He crosses his arms and turns away walking towards the docks.
"Fine, ill just lay him down next to konzu I guess..." I mumble to myself, "please wake up soon love. Oh God what have you done to me" I walk up to konzu and he says "swazdo-lah!" But he notices me carrying Hades and tells me he will take him into a hut and care for him. To which I say give me a bounty. He shows me several each with parts to a warframe called Gara. I accept the mission and embark on my journey through the giant gates that open to the plains of the eidolon.
Well, long chapter this time. I think the blending between games is working so far although the story may seem rushed. And every character is doing his own thing. And it looks like nothing will connect. But I assure you, it will. Thats all from me, sho-lah tenno!
