Chapter 5: All That Glitters

Hades' POV

"Dream." I'm not even one of the classes nevermind subclasses.
"Not of what you are." Don't forget about the monstrosity. Do you think you can actually help anyone?
"But of what you want to be." Oh maybe I can use Tenno and Guardian powers.

I need to wake up... I need to get a hold of myself. I need to help this fucked up world... I need to help my friends...

I slowly wake up but when I do I notice I am in a bed with Saya standing over me with a wet face cloth. I smile weakly while she calls in konzu. He greets me with his normal ostron speak.

"Where are my friends?" I ask quickly.

"Your friends are doing their own preparations for your awakening. But you do not know how much 'awakening' means in your case. The quills would like to speak to you. I believe you know the path," and so he gestures to the road that leads to quill Onkko. I make my way up the path to the door that only opens to the operator Tenno. Miraculously, it opens when I step near. There onkko its looking as fake as ever. But he does happen to have something for me...

"Ah yes. You have finally awoke from your nap hmm? You no doubt are clueless why you are here but fear not. Quill Onkko Primary has a little gift for you that should explain a portion of the tangled web you and your friends weave," he holds out a glove with a diamond on the palm. Not like the amp designed for tenno but it does resemble it enough. I put it on the hand that would typically be my melee power and I feel the energy flowing through and between my hand and the glove. "Go ahead, see what you can do now that your powers are focused." I hold out my hand and fire a white beam as my new ability. I may also "void dash" but we know its going to be a null dash instead. And I have the pulse that the tenno use as well. I am able to channel my null energy even more now.

"This is epic! Thank you so much, really." I state.

"Of course, anything for you surah." I make my way back outside to find my team waiting for me. What I hadn't expected was to see Brimstone with his warframe, the War sword, and his new amp. What also shocked me was to see Cerberus rather beaten up but holding parts to a warframe.

"Oh thank God youre okay Cerberus and I were so worried! We did get you a thing while you were gone but we dont really know if you can use it... He did most of the work as you can see," Brimstone informs me. I look over at Cerberus who looks rather weak to stand up so I walk over to him and give him a huge hug.

"Hey cutie. Glad you woke up finally. Took you damn long enough." He teases with a sleepy grin. I miss his cheek then realize what I did and turn a deep shade of red and pull away awkwardly. We stare at each other until Brimstone has to break the silence by giving me the parts to Gara then directing me to his ship so I can build it. While waiting for it to finish Cerberus comes in looking for me. I look up from my hands to see his brown eyes and golden hair. His face not showing any nervousness.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"I'm not mad at you or anything about you kissing my mouth."

"Ok. But I didnt mean to so I'm embarrassed."

"Oh?"

"I mean, I like you even though we havent even met irl. But I don't know if me kissing you was-" I'm cut off by his sweet smooth lips pushing against my own.

"It was fine Hades." For some reason I just remember the purple engram I had yet to decrypt, so I pulled it out and decrypted it in front of Cerberus. We both blushed lightly when what was pulled out happened to be the Unspoken Promise sword. I silently gave it to him and he took it happily.

"Thanks for saving me. Again."

"Should we even say thanks anymore or just enjoy it? I feel like it won't end." We both laugh at that and then Ordis announces the foundry has an item ready for claiming: my Gara. "I hope it works for you Hades. I went through a lot of trouble to get the parts and Brimstone went through a tad to get the main blueprint." I walk over to the foundry, accept Gara, and call Brimstone so we are all here to watch what happens. Brimstone allows me to use his arsenal to equip Gara and surprisingly I have full control over the warframe. I'm able to freely switch between Tenno and Warframe, as well as use my guardian powers. I even get to use my Dreadfang while controlling my brand new Warframe. The team cheers loudly in celebration. But the celebration is cut short when something roars outside.

Another chapter in the bag. I was gonna put in Brimstone and Cerberus's adventures but nah. Unless someone wants to see my spin on them. But hey plot is coming together between me and Cerberus. And slowly there will be actual heroic stuff I promise. Next chapter we see the power of a Tenno, Guardian, and Tenno Guardian. Bye for now!
