Archie
You sat down in your car, staring out at the blur of colours as your father drove you towards your new home. You recently moved from Los Angeles to Riverdale, and your father and mother decided to build a house from the ground instead of buying on second hand. "So, Y/N, you excited?"
Tearing your eyes reluctantly from the window, you met your mother's gaze and nodded with a soft smile, which did not meet your eyes while your father sighs as he took a turn towards a more private part of town, where a huge 2-story-house was being built. "Honey, don't worry too much. You will love it here, and make new friends; you are good at that."
All you did was nod in reply before you got out the car once it stopped, not wanting them to see how truly upset you are because of the sudden move; but after your grandfather passed, your mother decided it was time for a new start.
"Fred! How's it going?" Your father asked a man with a beard, who smiled in return and shook your mother's hand kindly, before he smiles over at you warmly and hold his hand out to shake. "Hello there, you must be Y/N. I'm Fred Andrews, and that boy over there with the blueprints to your room design, is my son Archie." The man said with a kind smile, nodding towards a red head teen who was already staring at you with wide eyes, his tall form bent over a messy table. "You are gonna be seeing him around more often, you are attending the same high school."
Shyly, you raised your hand and waved over at him; Archie immediately waving back happily, which made you smile. Maybe this town wouldn't be half bad after-all.
Jughead
The bell chimed as you entered Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe, closing the glass door behind you as you made your way towards the only empty table left in the eatery. "A chocolate milkshake?" A waiter, Mark, who has become some what of your friend as you are here so often, asked you with an amused look; to which you nodded in reply with a wide smile before he walked away with a smile on his lips.
Silently, you grabbed your sketchbook out from your bag along with your pencil case, before you started to add more details to a drawing of a lily; one of your most favourite flowers. As you started to draw, the world around you faded into a blur of colour and seems to mute themselves. This usually happens, as you put your full attention to whatever you are doing, so everything else seems to be blurred out and muted to you.
"Lilies?" A voice asked you, making you snap back into reality as you blinked your eyes for a moment like a lost puppy. A teen boy stood in front of you, his messy hair tucked away beneath a beanie and his backpack slung over his shoulder, as he stared down at your page with a mildly impressed look. "Uh..yeah, one of my favourite flowers.."
He nodded and plopped his bag down into the seat opposite from yours, taking the cherry off your milkshake casually like he has been friends with you since forever; which made you feel even more weirded out by him. "W-Who are you, exactly?" You asked him as he took some whipped cream with his finger, licking it casually while watching you with a raised eyebrow. "Jughead Jones the third. Sorry about your cherry, I know you hate them since you always leave the cherry to the side."
Damn, he's right..who is this dude?
Betty
You walked out from the student information office with papers clutched in your hand, looking down at them curiously as you stood by the side. You were new to Riverdale High School, and as tradition the school provides a student as a tour guide of a sort. However, as you were running a little late this morning, you wonder if the person just gave up and walked away.
Just as you were about to walk back into the office, you sat a blonde girl with curly hair ran towards you, giving you an apologetic look as she stood next to you. "I am so sorry, my friend Archie woke up late and we were carpooling." She explained, her voice sounding a little breathless from running, as she offered you a warm smile. "Your name is Y/N right? I'm Betty Cooper."
"Yes I am." You nodded with a wide smile, shaking her hand as you noted how pretty she looked whenever she smiles. "Nice to finally meet you, Betty. Don't worry, I was late too, I thought you gave up and left." You admitted truthfully before she laughs and shakes her head, leading you away from the office with a warm smile. "No, it's fine - everyone is late once in awhile."
Veronica
You lived in an expensive neighborhood, which was more towards landed properties. You lived in the house 329, and has been since you were born. You never had a neighbor, as your window was facing the vacant house next door, and the other window facing your place is from the family's library room.
However, when you were coming back from your gymnastics class, you spotted a car with a few bags sitting on the front porch. "Hermione Lodge is moving back in." Your mother said as she came out from the house, walking up behind you and wraps her arm around your shoulder with a warm smile. "I baked cookies again...mind sending them over sweetie?"
"'Course mum." You said with a wide smile, always loving the chance to meet new people as you walked back inside to take a shower and prepared, making sure you look presentable before you made your way towards the once vacant home. The bags from outside were missing, so you assume they were somewhat done unpacking the car, so you walked towards the door quietly and pressed the doorbell.
A few moments later, a beautiful raven girl pulled the glass door open, making your breath get knocked out of you at the sight of her. "Hey.." She said with a soft smile, gently leaning on the door-frame as you felt a light blush coat your cheeks. "I'm Veronica...you must be our new neighbor."
