Archie
Today Archie, one of your closest friends, asked you to come to the music room to listen to a new song he wrote last night. You agreed, which is what got you through the boring day in school. You had a crush on Archie for as long as you can remember, but the thing was that another close friend of yours, Betty, has her eye on him as well. So you decided to fall back and keep you two at the 'just be friends' stage; but that doesn't mean you weren't excited to see him after school.
As the finally bell came, you packed your things quickly before walking out the classroom, briefly walking to your locker to put the books away that you did not need for the day. After that, you zipped up your bag, locked your locker again, before making your way towards the music room. The closer you got, the thinner the group of student become; and before you knew it you were already opening the knob that led to the music room. "Archie?"
"Over here!" A familiar voice called out to you from the middle of the room, so you closed the door behind you before you made your way into the quiet room, only to spot a beautiful bouquet of roses held by a very nervous looking Archie. "Oh, Archie." You said with a wide smile, closing the door behind you as you made your way towards him; gently taking the flowers that he handed to you with a wide smile on his lips. "You shouldn't have! But what's the occasion for?"
He blushes lightly and rubs the back of his neck with one hand, before he smiles softly over at you shyly. "I was wondering...if, you know, maybe y-you'd wanted to go out on a date, with me?" He asks you nervously, which made you smile widely and nodded your head quickly. "Of course I would Archie!"
Jughead
You met Jughead at your usual place in Pop's, making your way towards him as he typed away on his now iconic laptop. "Hey Jug, how are you?" You asked him with a smile, before getting comfortable on your seat as he glanced up from the top of his laptop screen in acknowledgement. "Anything new you wrote since the last time we met?"
"No, I have had something on my mind." He admitted with a sigh, before he closed his laptop, which made you a little bit confused as Jughead is close to almost always writing whenever you two meet up. "Is it a new article for the Blue and Gold?" You asked curiously with a tilt of your head, only to frown a little as he shook his head with a emotionless look. "Wanna talk about it?"
"Y/N, I am just preparing myself for our date." He said casually just as the waiter brought over your regulars; one chocolate milkshake for you and one vanilla one for Jughead. "Our w-what?" You asked in shock, feeling a light blush travel up your cheeks as you watched how he casually ate the cherry on top of both of you guys' milkshakes. "W-We are on a date? I didn't even dress up properly!"
"Y/N, we are at Pop's. Plus, you look pretty either way. Stop panicking."
Betty
You took a deep breath to calm yourself down, before entering the office for the school's newspaper the Blue and Gold with a warm smile on your lips. "Morning Betty." You greeted your crush with a wide smile, gently brushing your hair back as you spotted Betty's iconic golden hair tied back into a ponytail. "Hey Y/N! You are here early."
"Yeah...I kinda wanted to catch you before school started." You admitted with a soft laugh, shrugging your shoulders as you slipped your hands into your pockets as she looked up from the papers she was reading in her hands. "Wanted to ask you something." You continued with a smile, enjoying how she immediately tried to read your face to see what you were going to say. "What is it?"
"I was wondering...if you wanted to go out tonight, at 7?" You asked her quickly in case you loose your nerves; only to feel a boost of confidence when you saw her cheeks turned an adorable pink colour as she nodded back in return shyly. "O-Of course...pick me up from mine?"
You nodded happily with a wide smile before you turned to walk out the room, smiling widely to yourself as you went about your day with your date with your crush in your mind.
Veronica
You were sitting in Literature class, already in a somewhat of a bad mood as the class before you were in was Math. No matter how good you were in the subject, the teacher hated you with a passion and has a thing where she loves to just press on your buttons. This subject wasn't your strongest, so when the teacher told you guys that you will be doing poems, you were one of the loudest students to let out an annoyed groan.
Your partner and crush, Veronica laughs softly at your reaction and in turn you playfully glared at her, pouting softly. "Awe, poor cutie." She coos softly and gently taps your nose with her finger, making you blink your eyes in return with a soft smile. "Don't worry, it's only for today." She said before she turned back to face the class, started to scribble on her notepad while you reluctantly did the same.
After struggling for 20 minutes and filling your page with doodles, you had nothing even written down on the paper when the teacher stopped everyone from writing. She started to pick people to read their poems, and you sat there silently praying that she didn't call your name. Thankfully, she didn't, but she did call out Veronica; who stood up confidently and began to read her poem.
Hers started out talking about her secret crush, with the next few lines complementing the person; which made your insides boil with jealousy as you were suddenly wondering who was this mysterious person. However when she ended her poem with, 'So, my dearest Y/N, would you kindly give me some of your precious time, to bring you out to dinner some time?', all you can do was blush hard and nodded your head in reply as you hid your warm face from everyone's stares.
A/N yeah...I can't write poetry for shit XD spare me
