2 days until the final exam

Y/N POV

I was eating with my brother Naruto talking about pranks. "Hey, Naruto?" I say a little quiet. "Yeah Y/N-chan?" He said with food in his mouth. "Are you a little worried about the exam in two days?" I ask looking at my ramen.

"Why would I be? I'm gonna be hokage! No way an exam will scare me, believe it!" He says spitting some ramen on me. "Say it don't spray it." I say a little annoyed. "Anyway, you can't be hokage if you don't pass y'know." I say continuing to eat.

His expression dropped. "W-well we should really get back to class! It's about to start, believe it!" He said grabbing my hand and dragging me back.

I sit down beside him again with Hinata beside me. I look at her blushing face and smirk. "Hey, hina, wanna trade seats?" I ask. "H-huh? W-wha-... I-I mean... umm.." she turned even more red if that's even possible.

Naruto looks at us and I see Hinata about to faint. "Aww, Y/N-chan doesn't wanna sit beside me" Naruto pouts. "N-no I just wanted to see if Hinata wanted to change spots! She looks like she's about to fal-" I said. "Sorry that took so long class, but let's get started." Iruka interrupted.

Naruto and I were walking to the park. When we got there we seen Kiba, choji and shikamaru. "Hey Y/N!" Kiba said with a grin. "Hey dog boy!" I wave. Kiba ran up to Naruto and I, Choji followed.

"Hey *chomp* Naruto and *chomp* Y/N-chan!" Choji said while eating chips. "Hey, where's shikamaru?" Naruto asked choji. Choji pointed to a sleeping pineapple head on the slide. I ran up to the side and climbed to the top.

"I don't think that's a good idea Y/N.." Kiba said. I ignored him and slid down the slide anyway. I guess shikamaru woke up to the noise and sat up right before I hit him. "HAHAHA THATS GREAT!" Naruto said. Kiba just stood there a little mad.

When shikamaru turned around I slid straight into him causing us both to fall to the ground. Me on top of him face inches away. He had a pink tent on his face. "Hiya pineapple head!" I said tilting my head to the side a little. "Troublesome woman...get off me" he said looking away.

I sat up still sitting on his chest. "Nope! Not until you tell me how great I am!" I say to him. "What a drag, just get up.." he said a little annoyed. "Not until you say how great of a friend I am!" I say grinning.

"*sigh* what a drag.. you're so great" he said sarcastically. I continued to sit on him. "Uh..Y/N?" Kiba said. "Yeah?" "He said it so are you gonna get up?" He said a little irritated for some reason. "Not until he means it! He didn't mean what he said" I say facing shikamaru.

"Just get off of me you troublesome woman.." he said still avoiding eye contact. I get back to the position we were in first to where our faces are inches away. He turned a little more pink while everyone else was a little shocked. "I'm.not.moving.until.you.mean.what.you.say." I say with a smirk.

"And because of your stubbornness, you have to tell me how pretty I am!" He got even more pink but it's still barely noticeable. "I think you've messed with him enough Y/N-chan. He doesn't wanna say it" choji said a little worried.

"I'll move when he says it!" I say still smirking. "*sigh* you're such a good friend and so amazing. You're also the most beautiful person I've ever seen...can you move now?" Shikamaru says looking straight at me. Naruto was rolling on the ground laughing, Kiba was glaring at shikamaru for some reason and choji laughed but then continued to eat his chips.

I felt my face heat up and seen shikamaru smirk a little. I quickly hoped up and looked away from everyone so they couldn't see my red face. "What a drag... now you're red" shikamaru said looking at me. 'IDIOT! SHUT UP!' I thought.

Naruto hoped in front of me and startled me. "You are red! aww Y/N-chans blushing!" Naruto said. I bonked him on the head. "Am not! Stop saying weird thinks Baka!" I said annoyed. Kiba was soon beside him looking at my face.

"Y-you are blushing!" He said shocked. My eyes widened at the tone in his voice. "Whatever, stupid." I said walking over to the swing and started swinging. Naruto and choji laughed but mainly Naruto. "What a drag... just leave her alone. Her complaining is annoying" shikamaru said laying back down but on a bench this time.

Kiba sat beside me on the other swing. "W-what are you staring at, stupid?" I say to him. He continues to look at me then ask, "do you like shikamaru?" He basically whispered to where I could barely hear him. "What? No way!" I whispered-yelled. "Good" he said before walking over to the others. 'Good? What's that supposed to mean?' I ask myself as I continue to swing in confusion.

The sun starts setting and everyone leaves with there parents leaving me and Naruto standing there alone. "Ready to go home?" He asked me. "Sure!" I say with a grin. We start walking home. "So...shikamaru?" Naruto said with a grin. "What? STUPID NO WAY! SHUT UP!" I yell at him while walking faster. "But you were blushing! You can't deny it!" "I just didn't expect him to actually say that stuff! It just surprised me, ya'know?!" I say a little louder.

"Well then why'd you make him say it?" Naruto asked. "Because I wanted to see his reaction stupid! Don't get the wrong idea.." I sat looking away from him. Then I get an idea.

"The only guy I like is you onii-chan!" I say smiling at him. He turns a little red "w-what? No way! I'm your older brother!" I bursted out laughing "I mean in a sibling way stupid! Don't get the wrong idea for everything!" I say as we continue to walk.

When we get home I go straight for my bed. 'Why does that idiot always get the wrong idea' I giggle to myself thinking about Naruto's stupidity. I soon fall asleep and dream about eating ramen.
