A real mission

Y/N POV

"How far away is the target?" Kakashi asked. "Five meters and closing! So...how much longer are we gonna wait?!" Naruto said. "I'm in position" Sasuke said. "So am I" I replied. "All right! GO!" Kakashi told us.

We all charge in. "HAI-YAAAAH!" Naruto yelled. "MEEE-OOOW!!!" "GOTCHA!"Naruto said holding a cat that's scratching his face."ow, ow, ow! That doesn't tickle!" Naruto said. "Target confirmed." Sasuke said in his little microphone thingy.

"Good! Then mission: find the missing pet, is accomplished!" Kakashi told us. After we returned the cat back to its, nightmare of an owner, we went to the hokage's office.

"Now, the next assignment for Kakashi's team seven will be...hmm... to babysit for the council of elders... to run errands to the neighboring village... to help dig sweet potatoes....-" the hokage was cut off by Naruto. "No way!!! No thank you!! Give us something different to do. Something important! Something amazing!!!"

"I agree!" I say. "Don't be fools!! You're only beginners!" Iruka yells, who was standing beside the hokage the whole time. "We've done tons of small stuff. Can't we get some action?!!" Naruto yells. I nod in agreement. "He's right! All we've mainly done was catch stupi-" I was cut off by Kakashi hitting me and Naruto on the head.

"Twins, that's enough. Knock it off!" Kakashi said. The hokage then starts explaining the different types of ranks and missions. Apparently we're only classified for D rank and later maybe C rank. There are 4 different ranks of missions. D being the easiest and A being the hardest.

"-Thus far, the three of you have only just attained the lowest rank...level D tasks are the best you could aspire to." The hokage said. "Hmm... I had pork ramen for lunch yesterday...so I think I'll have miso ramen today." Naruto said sitting down. I sat in front of him. "Yeah, that sounds nice." I say.

"ARE YOU TWO LISTENING?" The hokage asked/yelled. "I-I'm sorry." Kakashi apologized. "I don't want to hear it!" Naruto yelled. "All the old fart ever does is apologize and then give us a lecture!" I say.

"But it's not fair. There's more to us then the trouble-making screwup twins the old man thinks we are!" Naruto yelled. I nodded. "*sigh* I am going to be in so much trouble for this later..." Kakashi said.

"Very well" the hokage said. "Eh?" Naruto and I said in usion. "Since you put it that way...I will permit you to attempt a C rank mission usually reserved for shinobi of the Journeyman level... the protection of a certain individual..." the hokage said. "All right!" Naruto and I exclaimed.

"Who is it? Some great lord? The daimyo!? A princess!?" Naruto asked. "Compose yourself. I'll perform the introductions straightaway. Please invite him in.." the hokage said.

The hokage door opened and in walked an old drunk man with a bottle of sakè(I think is how you spell it) in his hand, leaning on the door way. "What's going on here? They look like a bunch of wet-nosed brats. Especially...the midgets. They've got the face of an imbecile. It's a joke right? You kids aren't really ninja, are you?" The drunk man said.

"Haha! He's calling you two imbeci-..." Naruto said looking around. I noticed me and Naruto are the shortest and I guess Naruto noticed to. "You drunk old-" a hand covered my mouth. It was Sasuke. "I'll kill him!!!!" Naruto said. Kakashi grabbed him. "Wrong. No killing the old man you've been assigned to protect." Kakashi said.

"I am Tazuna. A bridge builder of ultimate renown, until I am safely back in my own country, where I'll be completing my next bridge, you'll all be expected to protect me. Even if it costs you your lives!" Tazuna said.

As we get to the gate of konaha I immediately ran out and stood in front of the village. "All right! Road trip!!" I yell. Naruto soon at my side. "What are you babbling about, dobe?" Sasuke said. "This'll be the first time me and Naruto have been outside of the village!" I say. "Yeah!" Naruto replied.
