A Shattered Flower

She was once graced

A perfect being with no worries whatsoever

Then they came

Took her away

And locked her up

She escaped, believing she was free

But she was not

Another asylum, this one in her mind

Though she no longer bears the shackles

She is still chained

Barred, her mere fragile mind slipped

Allowing blood to taint the once perfect beauty

How can she be whole again?

Split in half;

A half and a half;

For a now tainted whole
