"Holy crap Kirisagi!" Kirishima said, "I wasn't expecting that to come out of you!"
"Please, call me Viktor, it feels odd being called by my last name."
"Sure thing man. I'm just surprised that your nearly as fast as the guy who's quirk is all about speed."
"I'm no where near as fast as him, I just have a very rapid acceleration. In a long diatance run Iida would outrun me with ease."
"Alright, settle down. We still have several other tests to take. I want to get this over with and see who's going home." Aizawa said.
The rest of the tests passed by quickly enough. I did fairly well on most of them. When we were doing the ball throw, Ururaka ended up getting an infinite score which was impressive.
The Octopus boy, Shoji ended up being able to pull a whopping 540 kilograms on the grip strength test, and that little perv Mineta set a new record for the side jump test. Overall everyone had at least one thing they were really good at. However, Midoriya seemed to be the exception. He appeared to struggle with every test we had, and I was starting to think he might be the one going home.
When it was his turn for the ball throw he took his spot in the circle of doom, and he looked absolutely terrified. He looked at the ball in his hand, gritted his teeth, and threw it as hard as he could.
"46 meters."
Shock and horror raced over his face in an instant and he looked down at his hands. "What gives? I was trying to use it just now."
"I erased your quirk." Mr. Aizawas scarf and hair were now floating around his head. "The judges for the entrance exam were not rational enough, someone like you should never have been allowed to attend this school.
Midoriya gasped. "You did what to my- I recognize those goggles! You can look at someone and take away their quirk. Your the Erasure hero, Eraser Head!"
The other students started to talk amongst themselves. "Eraser head? I haven't heard that name before." Kirishima said.
"I have, he supposedly works on the down low." Asui replied.
I decided to step in and draw some of the fire directed at Midoriya. "Mr. Aizawa, why do I deserve to be here any more than him. Unlike me he happens to have all of his senses."
"Yes he does, however he has no control over his power and he didn't receive a special recommendation."
I wasn't sure how to respond to that. My whole draw fire plan had failed miserably, however Midoriya did give me a quick look of gratitude.
Aizawa went back to lecturing Midoriya. "Were you planning on breaking your bones again, counting on someone else to rescue your useless body?"
"No! that's not what I was trying to do at-" almost as though it had a mind of its own Aizawas scarf snaked its way around Midoriya, pulling him in close until the teacher was looking directly down at him.
He glared at Midoriya, "No matter how noble your intentions may be, you would be nothing but a liability in the field of battle. You have the same reckless passion as another hero I know. One who became famous by saving over a thousand people on his own. But even with that drive, your worthless if you can only throw a single punch before breaking down. Sorry Midoriya, but with your power there's no way you can become a hero."
Upon hearing those words, Midoriyas face of fear changed into one of determination, meeting the teachers gaze head on, unflinching.
Aizawas scarf wrapped itself back around his neck and he closed his eyes. "I've returned your impractical quirk. Take your final throw, hurry get it over with."
He stoo there for several seconds, muttering to himself deep in concentration, before he once again gritted his teeth, wound his arm back, and let that ball fly for all its worth.
"SMASH!"
There was a small sonic boom as the ball left his hand, temporarily blinding and deafening me by overloading my auditory senses.
After my senses returned, I was able to hear Aizawas phone say, " 705 meters!"
"See Mr. Aizawa, I'm still standing." He turned around and looked at Aizawa. I could hear the pain that he was holding back in his voice. The index finger of his throwing hand was bent at an angle that a finger shouldn't normally bend at. It was definitely broken. At this point I also noticed that a large muscular figure was watching us from around the corner of the building, like he was studying us.
Most of us were standing there in suprise. After the way he failed the other tests none of us thought he would be able to pass the throw.
Ochako threw her hands up cheered, "Nice, he's finally showing us his true power!"
Iida put his hand to his chin in thought, "his finger appears to be broken, just like in the exam. His quirk is very odd."
Unlike the rest of us who were simply surprised, Bakugo was standing next to us looking completely dumbfounded. It was as though he had never seen Midoriya use this kind of strength before. He started twitching angrily and then his hand sparked an explosion as he rushed forwards towards Midoriya. "Deku you bastard! Tell me how you did that or your dead!"
Midoriya started to panic until Mr. Aizawas scarf flew out and ensared the sprinting Bakugo stoping him in his tracks.
"What? Why the hell is your damn scarf so damn strong?
"That's because its a capture weapon made out of carbon fiber and a special metal alloy. Now stand down. It would be wise to not make me use my quirk so much, it gives me serious dry eye."
After a few moments bakugo stopped struggling and Aizwa let him go. Midoriya gave him a wide berth as he walked back over to our group.
Ochako walked up to him with concern. "Ouch, is your finger ok? It looks pretty painful."
"Yeah, I'm fine."
After that fiasco, the remaining tests passed by fairly quickly. Like I thought he would, Iida absolutely dominated the long distance run. When we were all finished Aizawa gathered us together and said, "Alright, time to give you your results. I've ranked you from best to worst. You probably already have a pretty good idea of where you stand. Ill just pull up the whole list, it would be a waste of time to go over each individual score."
He clicked a button on his phone and I'm guessing the list appeared on a screen. I leaned over and whispered to yaoyorozu, "Can you tell me what my placement is?"
"Huh? Oh yeah sure, uh, you placed in fith, below Iida, Bakugo, Todoroki, and myself."
I could feel Midoriya having a mini panic attack a few paces away and guessed he had come in last. Aizawa gave us a few moments before clicking the Button again, "Oh, and I was lying, no ones going home, that was just a rational deception to make sure you did your best."
The entire class paused in shock before crying out in unison,"WHAT!?"
