I hadn't left the apartment at all in the two weeks since my dad died. All I did was train, as loudly and as viciously as I could, neighbors be damned. I vowed that I would not rest until I found the man who had killed my father and have burnt a hole in the middle of his face, this man with a hand for a face. I had never heard of this man before, and neither had the police. When I told them what my father had said to me they thought I was rambling on about nonsense due to sudden mental trauma. I'll be sure to bring them proof of his existence, maybe his severed head would do.
I was shaken out of my dark machinations by the sound of someone knocking on my front door.
I got up off the bench I was working out on, laid the dumbbells that I had been using on the ground, and walked over to the door.
"Who is it?"
"Its us, from Yuuei." Several overlapped voices replied.
"Viktor could you please open the door, we're worried about you." Ashido asked.
"Yeah man, open up. You shouldn't be in there all by yourself." Added Kirishima.
"Open up this damn door before I blast it down you bastard!"
Really? Bakugo came? Why on earth would he be here willingly? I pondered on this for a moment before yet another voice spoke.
"Being all alone in a time of such great emotional distress is never a wise idea young Kirisagi. That's why WE ARE HERE!"
THE HELL? All Might's out there too? How many people came?
After hearing All Mights voice I reluctantly opened the door and stood in front of them. It took me a moment to speak. The entire class had shown up at my apartment.
They all looked at me for a moment, taking in my brooding self. My normally well kept hair down around my face full of snarls and knots, My well toned body dripping in sweat and grime, My hands bloodied and bruised, wrapped in filthy bandages. I knew I looked like a homeless person that fought for money.
"Are you all going to stand there or are you going to come in?"
As they filed in through the door I remembered that there werent any electric lights in the room, so I stuck my hand out the door and made a hardened ball of sunlight that I placed on the coffee table in the living room.
"Give me some time to wash up and change then we can discuss why you all decided to come see me. Twenty people is a lot for a room this size so feel free to spread out into the kitchen and out on the balcony."
I walked to the bathroom and turned the shower onto its hottest setting. The water rolled through my hair and down my body. The heat relaxing my once tense muscles. I scrubbed my hair raking my fingers through to pull out the tangled bunches that had formed, returning it to its smooth soft look.
After I was finished I realised that I hadn't grabbed any clothes before getting in the shower. I muttered to myself,"This should be interesting."
I wrapped a towel around my waist before opening the bathroom door slightly. I put my ear to the crack to give myself a better idea of where everyone was. It sounded like most had gone into the kitchen and were raiding it, and several others out onto the balcony, But the acoustics in my apartment weren't very good so I wasnt certain of anything.
No guts no glory. I quickly opened the door and strolled further down the hallway straight into my room. I shut the door behind. And let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
"Oh my gosh! We're so sorry!"
I froze as I heard the voices coming from right in front of me. Yaoyarozu and Ashido were standing right in front of me, While I was wearing nothing but a towel.
I couldn't speak from embarrassment.
I simply opened the door back up and waved towards it. The two girls hurried out with their heads together whispering.I tried to pretend that nothing happened as I changed and then walked back out into the living room and sat down on the couch. The others noticed and congregated around me.
"So, what do you guys want to know? You wouldn't be here otherwise."
"Well why don't you tell us a bit about your father? I'm sure that would help us understand how you feel."
"I suppose that's fair. Do you guys remember hearing of a villain from before any of us were born that called himself Power House?"
Midoriya quickly spoke up, "I do! He was a major player back then. He even gave you a tough challenge didn't he All Might?
"Yes he did. As a matter of fact I never caught him. After we had a particularly difficult fight, one that nearly leveled a city block, he seemed to just fade into the wind. He never showed himself again and I never figured out why. But what does an old villain have to do with your father?"
"He was, no, is my father"
They all paused for a moment. "WHAT!"
