As Ashido and I surveyed the front of the building I thought to myself, this should be very interesting. The building structure was almost identical to the one Bakugo and Midoriya destroyed. It was a tall windowed rectangle made of concrete and metal, a very simple yet effective design.

"I'm guessing that they're primary goal will be to immobilize us with Todoroki's ice." I looked at Ashido, "Unfortunately, the materials that the building is made of is blocking some of the sound that should be reverberating through, I can't see past the floor above us."

Ashido turned her head and stared at me for a second. "Your complaining about not being able to see through more than a foot of concrete even though you don't even have eyes?" She started laughing. "That's the funniest thing i've heard the entire day!"

Mere moments after her laughter echoed through the halls, I heard a very loud crackling sound rapidly approaching us. I immediately tackled Ashido to the side as a massive spike of ice jammed itself out the doorway. Then a layer of ice formed around the building exterior. Todoroki had just made it virtually impossible to come in through the front door or any of the windows, we were quite effectively stuck outside.

I got up off of Ashido and took a moment to survey the situation. I wasn't to sure how to get in. It would take to long for my light to melt through the ice at a steady pace, but trying to melt this much all at once could be to dangerous for Mina if she was to close.

"Aw man," Ashido whined, "what are we supposed to do now? We wont be able to get anywhere like this. I'd say we should try to get up on top of the roof, but neither of us has flight quirks. Do we have to forfeit?"

Flight quirks? Thank you Ashido. You just gave me the best worst idea ever. "How do you feel about heights?"

"What?"

"I have an idea, but your going to have to hold on very tightly." I turned around and squatted down a bit. "Get on, and like I said, hold on tight."

She climbed onto my back and wrapped her arms around my neck and her legs around my waist. I did my best to ignore the comfortably soft mounds pressed against my back.

"I'm not so sure about thiiiAHHHHHH!" Ashidos scream rang in my head as I leapt upwards propelled by the large burst of light. I made it about two thirds of the way up the building before I grabbed onto a nearby window ledge and made one more leap up. As we flew into the air I reinforced my staff with light and swung it over my head when I landed on the roof. There was a massive blast of light and rubble, and when the dust settled there was a large hole exposing the interior of the top floor. Ashido slid off my back and we both walked to the hole. We looked down into it and saw both Shoji and Todoroki looking back at us completely dumbfounded.

"Well this was unexpected wasn't it?" I said.

Todoroki was the first to act, sending another large spike of ice at us, but this time I was ready for it. I gave my staff a twirl and struck the end of the spike shattering it into millions of tiny shards.

"I've got Todoroki and Shoji handled! You'll need to go for the weapon!" I shouted as I leapt down into the room.

"Right!" She jumped down and ran for the door. Shoji tried to follow her, but I blinded him with a quick light burst. Unfortunately this gave Todoroki time to freeze my feet to the floor.

"I can take care of him Shoji, you have to go after Ashido and make sure she doesnt make it to the weapon!"

Shoji nodded and ran towards the door. I tried to blind him again, but he saw my attack coming and covered his face. I hope that I bought Ashido enough of a headstart. I have no idea how quickly he'll catch up.

I looked at Todoroki, "Looks like its just you and me now or more accurately, just me."

I gave my staff another twirl and slammed it into the floor. The ice that was once frozen had now been converted into steam. It gave me the perfect cover. I could see Todoroki looking around rapidly trying to find me. I quickly darted towards him once he turned his back to me and rapped him on the head with my staff. He let out a groan and slumped to the floor. I made sure to bind Todorokis hands firmly with the capture tape before running off after Shoji and Ashido.

I had barely made it down the hallway before I heard a familiar twinkling racing towards me. I probably should have checked that he was actually unconscious, not just dazed, that was a mistake that I wont make again. I slowed down and turned around, the entire hallway had been coated in ice from floor to ceiling, and standing at the other end with his breath steaming in the cold air was Todoroki.
