Chapter Two

After getting ready, putting on a semi-fancy outfit, smoking a little bit, then grabbing my phone, keys, and shit, I began heading out.

"Ayeee waddup fam? Why you all dressed up? I brought some bud and drinks so we could turn up-" My brother Kamrin began.

"Sorry bro, I gotta dip."

"Man, you never down to party wit me anymore. What happen to the old you?" My bro said.

"Whatever bruh, I gotta go. See you around fam." I said, as I left the house and got into my car.

I turned up the jams, and headed to Angel's penthouse.

When I got to the party, I didn't recognize anyone. I didn't see Angel. It was just a bunch of classy people drinking champagne, in tuxedos and gowns, I felt underdressed, and uncomfortable as I wandered around looking for Angel.

"Damn maybe I shouldn't have even came." I thought as I then entered this room, where more people were.

Right when I was about to leave, I heard a familiar giggle.

"Your so funny Jonathan! I missed you!" That all too familiar voice said.

"I missed you too hun." Jonathan said.

I looked back, and I see Jonathan, that fool who made some of my beats. Him and a group of guys, surrounded a familiar beauty, my girl, Kat. It seemed like it had been forever. She looks better. Her cheeks weren't as sucked up, her titties and that booty was bigger, she looked happier, she looked even more beautiful, she changed, she's grown.

But I couldn't look at her without a tear slipping, I was thinking about the past, our past.

I looked away and wiped my eyes, when I looked at her, our eyes met, she couldn't stop staring.

She strutted over, in her black gown that stopped at her ankles, there was a slit in the dress so you could see her toned right leg, a black garter around her thigh, her recently cut hair flowed down to her shoulders.

She smirked at me.

"How are you doing?" She asked, taking a sip from her glass.

I nodded.

"I-I'm existing." I replied, hiding my emotions.

She tilts her head, examining me.

"How's your new girl?" Kat asked, looking to the floor, taking another drink.

"New girl?"

"Yeah that chick who's always posting... pics of you two. I'm glad your happy." Kat said, about to walk away.

I put my hand on her shoulder.

"Kat... I miss you." I said, sadly, making eye contact. Something twinkled in her hazelnut colored eyes.

Just a few seconds later, Joyner Lucas  appeared with Chris Brown, (yes Joyner and Cbreezy have been working together)

"Baby girl! There you are! You down to leave?" Joyner asked her, taking her hands into his as they gazed at each other, clearly they were still in love.

Chris raised an eyebrow at me.

"Dope tattoos man." Chris said as he pointed to the tattoos on my face.

"Thanks."

"Oh look who it is! The little sky kid." Joyner joked as he messed up my hair.

I glared at him as Kat, Chris, and Joyner laughed. Kat was cupping her mouth.

"Yup. I actually wanna ask Kat something... in private-" I began, regaining my focus on her.

Kat let go of Joyner's arm, and nodded.

Before Joyner could say anything I grabbed Kat's hand, and we made our way to an empty room, where nobody else was.
