Chapter Twenty-Three: Heartbroken😭💔

"I can't pick okay?"

"Kat... we can't do this anymore you have to choose right now."

"Foreal tho girl, we gotta know."

"..." I was speechless. Like what...? How are they just gonna drop this big decision on me all at once? I can't do that... I can't... and I feel like I'm gonna end up loosing both of them.

"I can't. I'm sorry. Both of you can leave but I cannot do that."

Skies nodded.

"Ok... but I know you gon regret that." Then he walked away.

"Imma go see what's up with the guys... see you around Kat."

"Wait Diego... we're still cool though right?"

"Y-yeah. I just need to think for a lil bit."

And just like that they both left me.... stranded on the beach, standing there looking like a loner-idiot. Did I just screw everything up? I think so.

"What happened? You okay?" Coco and Angelina walked up to me.

"I- I messed up."

LIL SKIES' P.O.V.

"I couldn't wait anymore. It's like I was stuck in place being with her and I couldn't take it. Seeing her with other guys... that shit got to me... and now... I have to let her go. For real this time. Cause I can't keep doing this to myself or her... I've hurt her too much and we prolly better off without each other. And I'm not doin this cause I wanna leave her, I'm doin this cause I want what's best for her and right now I think that's leaving her," I was lost in thought. "i'm down to try and work it out in the future... but right now our relationship was literally going nowhere, so maybe separating wasn't such a bad idea. She's gon be hard to replace though, who's gon make me smile when I'm feeling down? Who's gonna roll my weed? I shouldn't have left her like that but I can't take it back. She's prolly already off with another guy or sum... she prolly don't even care. Fuck this ima get faded."

I took a sip off my double cup, I'm around the bonfire wit everybody, musics playing, it's gettin dark, everything is chill... but I can't get Kat off of my mind.

I finished three cups of lean, then moved on to taking shots of some Henny. I should chug the whole bottle. There was literally a table of just alcohol so I wasn't trippin' on how much I drank.

"Hey there Skies... maybe you should lay off the booze." I look over and I see Jacey, one of my exes. (pretty sure Skies & Jacey got back together irl. side note: I didn't know who Jacey was until recently. And Jackie, the girl from the first chapter was originally casted as Jacey Fugate but since she's the only girl I can find pics of w/ skies Jacey's jus gonna be Jacey lol so apologies for any confusion.)

"Jacey? Whatchu doin here?" She looked real pretty, not even gon lie. I haven't seen her since she broke up wit me for messing around wit Kat, way back when we first met, and I never told Kat about Jacey. So she don't even know Jacey exists.
