Gotham City
Tigress and Huntress scaled the rooftops of Gotham City. Both of them in almost matching suits. The only different is the red on Huntress uniform and their choice of weapons. While Tigress stayed with her crossbow and sword, Huntress had chosen bow and arrow as her primary weapon. So far, they had stopped three robberies and Huntress was getting bored.
"Are you sure that the league doesn't have anything for us to do?" She asked as she shot an arrow at a practice target in a warehouse somewhere in the outer city. Bullseye Huntress thought as she smiled to herself.
"Nice shot" Tigress said to her.
"You're still avoiding my question"
Artemis sighed "Tomorrow I have to go in a meeting with the league, and you will be on patrol with the others" by the others she meant the other heroes children.
"So I'm babysitting" sometimes being the eldest of the hero children at age 14 did not come with benefits.
Her mother shot her a look "please"
"Why can't I do more? I know that I can if you just let me."
"You're only 14. I was 16 when I joined the team"
"Yes, but you already had more experience than me" Diane knew both of her parents past. And what her mother didn't tell her; the computer did.
"Can we not argue Diane?"
Diane grumbled but did not say anything else on that matter.
"Let's just go home"
As they were on their way back to the small apartment Diane looked at her mother.
"Hey mom" she said, "Thanks for everything"
And here it is! The first chapter of our new story. Inspired by our little brother who made us watch the young justice series and got us hooked.
