Elaboration: Imagine people who have passed away, but their timers are still counting down, so their soulmate is still alive.
Imagine children whose timers are at zero, or people whose timers who have years upon years of time left, but then pass away, and their timers drop dramatically, showing that something changed in their soulmate once they passed away (maybe a cruel ending like suicide will occur).
Imagine people who are desperately trying to find their soulmate, seeing that they only have an hour left on their clock.
Imagine best friends trying to help each other find the other's soulmate, only realizing when one of them passes that they were each other's.
Imagine seeing that your soulmate is going to live a long life, making you feel relieved. Imagine meeting your soulmate, and you just know like it's by instinct, that they're your soulmate, but you see that their arm only has a week.
