Sehun POV (Exo)
I was beyond nervous as I made my way up the stairs to find the guest bedroom. What the heck was going on? All I knew was the house was quite dark, but I could still see enough to not trip over anything. Well, anything I actually thought to see. I groaned as I hit the floor. What did I trip over? A stuffed animal of some sort. I picked it up and looked at it. A deer? Huh reminds me of Luhan hyung. That one made me blush a bit. Just thinking of him. I was so deep in thought, someone suddenly touching my arm, made me jump.
"You okay Sehunnie?" a voice asked.
Him.
"U-u-h-uh yeah," I studdered. Why?
"That's good. I thought you had really hurt yourself."
"Ith (is) thith (this) yourth (yours)?" I showed him the stuffed animal.
He looked at it. "No."
"It'th (it's) kind of cute."
"Like you," Luhan hyung muttered as he scratched the back of his neck.
"Huh?" Why did that have to be all that came out? Why just why?
"T-t-t-the stuffed t-t-toy. I-t-t-it's cute l-l-like you are," Luhan hyung studdered.
"Um."
Luhan hyung glanced up at me but looked away. "Honestly, Sehunnie, I've liked you for a while now. I've just never been able to tell you. But tonight, on confession night, I gathered my courage."
"Thomething (something) tellth (tells) me that thith (this) wathn't (wasn't) the way it wath (was) meant to go." Damn my lisp. My mouth can never say what I want it to properly.
"Oh! That reminds me of something. I'll be right back Sehunnie," Luhan hyung said before darting off.
Where the heck was he going? I waited for a couple of minutes before he came back. I smiled when I saw what Luhan hyung was holding. Bubble tea.
Chen POV (Exo)
I sighed as I stood by the window. The text I had received told me to wait in the living room until everyone was gone. What the heck was I waiting for? I just wanted to get back to the dorm to watch the cartoons I had recorded earlier. I was half tempted to pull out my phone and look something up on YouTube. That was until I was broken out of those thoughts. It was freaky sounding footsteps. Well, it was a human, but in the dark, they kind of freaked me out. I began to wonder who it was as they drew nearer. As far as I remembered, I was the only one in the living room. I really did freak out a little bit due to the fact I couldn't figure out who was in the room with me. And this was starting to get beyond creepy.
"Hey," I heard someone say.
"Who?" I asked. I was thinking I knew the voice, but I wasn't sure.
"Well I won't tell my name for now if you don't know who I am. But there is something I do have to tell you. Honestly, I've liked you for a while now. I just haven't been able to say anything. But tonight is confession night so I gathered my courage to tell you how I feel. All I can hope is that you feel the same way. Though you probably don't. But, Chen, I had to tell you anyway."
I tried to think of who it could be, but couldn't figure it out. Aish! This was too much thinking. I just wanted to get back to the dorms to watch my cartoons. Should I just leave? That sounded like a good idea.
"Sorry, but I'm not sure I do feel the same way. I'm not even sure who you are right now. But I gotta get out of here," I said after a moment.
I didn't wait for whoever it was to answer, I got up and headed for the door. Suddenly, the person grabbed my arm and spun me around. Then something warm was pressing against my lips. Whoever this person was, was freaking kissing me! I managed to push them off me and shove whoever it was back. I growled in anger and left the lake house. I sped away from the place once I got onto the road. My mind raced to try to figure out who the person was. I wanted to know who had kissed me.
Kris POV (Exo)
I pondered what was going on as I headed up the stairs to the master bedroom. I wasn't the only one heading upstairs so that made me curious. But Lynn and Sehun headed different ways then I did. I was tasked with trying to find the master bedroom. That alone took almost ten minutes to do. When I finally found it which was at the end of a creepy, long hallway. I slowly opened the door. It didn't help the creepy feeling when it made a creaking noise. Definitely a haunted house feeling. I shook it off as I went into the bedroom and closed the door. Yeah totally not my best idea, but I did it anyway. I turned back to the room to see what was waiting for me. The room was pretty dark, but I could see a bit due to the moonlight coming in through the window. I looked around the room, but couldn't see anyone. I slowly made my way to the middle of the room which happened to be at the foot of the bed.
"I've been waiting for the courage to confess like this for a while now hyung," I heard someone suddenly comment. "But I never had it until tonight. Well, still don't have much courage but I'll go with what I have. I've liked you for a little bit now and it's time you knew how I feel. For months now, I've seen the way you smile and laugh. And it sparked this feeling deep inside me. It took me a bit to figure out what exactly I was feeling, but I did. And I found that I like you. Probably more than I actually should, but the feeling is there. I tried to tell myself it wasn't anything, but even after months, the feelings are still there. And they're not going away."
"You like me?" I questioned. Just from the voice, I knew who it was.
"Very much."
I gulped. "I....well...I...uh....I'm not sure I feel the same back. I still like Rayne a little. I'm not completely over her just yet. I am sorry to say that I don't think I feel the same way right now. I just need to get over Rayne before I think about any other relationship."
"I get it and I will wait for you. I don't care how long it takes, I will wait for you to feel the same way."
Well, this was going to get awkward.
