D.O POV (Exo)

I whizzed around the kitchen as I whipped up something for Chen. Kai was smart enough just to stand out of my way. I had never seen Chen this bad and I wanted so badly to fix it. I was helping in pretty much the only way I could. Making him something to eat. My mind replayed what all Taeyang had told us. He was right even though I didn't like it. It really did look like Chen hadn't been eating. Was he beating himself up for what had happened with Hunter? More than likely.

"Kyungsoo!" I heard a voice shout at me.

"Huh?" I dumbly asked.

Kai gave me one of his famous smirks. "The rice."

I glanced at the stove. Crap! The rice was almost going to burn. I quickly rushed over and shut the stove off and pulled the pan off the heat. I had been so deep in thought, I hadn't realized that for once I almost burned something. I made sure the rice was okay before adding it to the soup I was making. Usually, I made chicken noodle or something like that, but this time I was working on chicken and rice. It was something different and I just hoped Chen would eat it.

"What do you think is going to happen between them?" Kai asked as I finished stirring the rice into the soup.

"I don't know. I hope they work out everything."

"Same here. It bugs me to see them both in this shape. I never thought something like this would ever happen."

"Agreed. I've never seen Chen this beat up before either."

"We gotta help him get better."

"Somehow I think Hunter is the only one that can do that."

"How do we almost always think the same things?"

"Not a clue."

I finished the soup as Suho came into the kitchen.

"The soup almost done?" He asked.

"It's done now actually," I answered.

"Good. Chen's finally awake and I want him to try and eat something," Suho responded.

"Who is going to bring the food to him?" I asked as I got a bowl down for the soup.

"Can you do that?" Suho said flatly.

"Aish, wae?" I groaned. Hadn't I done enough?

Suho looked at me sharply. "I'd do it, but I'm leaving here soon. Keith wants to go see Hunter."

"That doesn't mean you can't do it now?" I further protested.

"Yah! Listen to your hyung!" Suho asserted.

I ruffled my hair. "Aish! Fine."

"Finally you listen."

"You just owe me for this. I make the freaking thing and now have to make sure he eats."

Suho shook his head as Keith came out to us. They grabbed each other's hands and left. I growled and put the bowl on a tray. I added a fork, spoon, napkin, and a glass of apple juice. Then I was off to take the food to Chen. Kai followed me like he always did. At least he was kind enough to open the door for me. I entered the room and sat the tray down on the nightstand. Chen saw me and sat up a little. He did look a bit better, but still not too good.

He tried to push the food away. Suho, why did you have to task me with this? Why just why?

"Just eat it okay?" I practically snapped.

I heard Kai sigh. "Hey Kyung, just go cool off. I'll make sure he eats."

I kind of roughly handed him the spoon and left the room. I grabbed my wallet and keys before slipping on my shoes and leaving. I hurried to my car and slid in. I started the engine and I was off.
