We watched 'She's the Man' while we held hands. It felt so innocent! I didnt want the night to end, but i could feel it coming to a close. The movie ended with Parker and I holding hands that were resting on my left leg. We were so relaxed and were starting to snuggle up to each other.
The movie ended and Parker shut the tv off with the remote, not having to get up to do so.
"I love that movie!" i laughed as i thought about what we had just watched.
"Well, I'm glad that we had it so we could watch it." he smiled.
I stood up and helped him stand up so we could go walk around.
"Where are you going?" he asked.
"We're goin on a walk. It feels like you're starting to close this date up and I don't want it to end." I smile and he laughs and looks at me.
I planned for us to head over to the neighboorhood's elementary school and walk around it too.
"Okay, that sounds like fun. I was getting sad because i could feel it closing up too and i didnt want that to happen either. I've really had fun, even if all we did was make pizza and watch an old movie, it was really, really fun." he said as he headed upstairs, and i followed.
"Well im sure your just as glad as i am that it isnt completely over just yet." I spoke as i put my shoes back on, since i took them off to be comfy while we were at his house for the evening.
We sat on the couch that Parker's family had in their living room. Their house was very nice to say the lease. It was simple, but very eloquent, it wasnt flashy, which people now have problems with. The living room had a newer couch and love seat set with a matching chair. Near the chair, was an adorable little table that matched a small coffer table in front of the couch.
We left holding hands to the neighborhood's little elementary school. We never had a dull moment in our conversation as we walked.
Once we arrived to the back of the school, where the playground was, he asked me if i wanted to swing. I nodded and we walked over to them.
We stayed at the park swinging for about another half hour, before we headed back to his house.
It was getting late to be walking around a neighborhood, it was about about 10:30. I saw Parker run into his house and grab his keys, I was guessing he was thinking it was about tie to end this date.
We headed to my house and i could see that this date ending was making him sad, but he was trying to hide it. I couldnt believe this was only our first date, unless you count the dance as a date.
We pulled up to my house and Parker got out to walk my to my door, what a gentleman!
"Well Addi, I really had a great time." He said as he held my hand in his.
I gave his hand a slight squeeze, "Me too, it was really fun. Thank you." I said as i started to give him a hug.
He hugged me back and i just felt like i was home. The lyrics to Christina Perry's "Arms" rushed into my head as i hugged him. That hug went on forever. I dont think either of us wanted to be the one to pull out of the hug.
I felt Parker pull away slightly, and i pulled the rest of the way.
"Parker, I really had a great time, thank you." I said as i gave him a small kiss on the cheek. I headed into my house after another hug.
What was i getting into?
