I started driving home, thinking about the night with Parker the whole time. I got inside my house, put on my pajamas, and decided to read Parker’s letter. I settled into my bed before I got stared reading.
Dear Addi’
If I’ve given you this letter, then it means I built up enough courage to go to the dance and meet you in person. I hope I haven’t ruined my chances with you, by now. I really hope I haven't ruined them.

I kept re-reading the letter as I fell asleep. That was the first night I dreamt of Parker Rosenwood.
