- yoongi's pov -
after we both take a shower and change into fresh, warm clothes, we dive under the thick sheets of my bed.
the both of us as we pull the sheets back over our heads.
"let's watch inception."
"haven't you watched it already?" jimin asks, craning his neck a little confusedly.
"yes, jimin."
"like eight times?"
"uhuh."
"aren't you bored of it?"
"honestly- a little."
"so let's watch something else hyung!!" jimin says, reaching for the remote control, in my left hand.
when he reaches across my waist, i hold onto him, my heart fluttering as i felt him melt into my arms, resting his head against my chest.
jimin interlaces his small fingers with mine, peering up at me and smiling so widely that his eyes- his eyes looked like crescent moons that lit up the room. his smile was genuinely sweet. it shone like stars after dark, with no city lights to dim them. he places my hand on his chest and just loud enough for me to hear, he says- "my heart beats only for you."
he takes my hand off his chest and then places his on my chest, his fingertips grazing my collarbone.
"and i hope yours beats for mine, too."
i look away, avoiding his gaze, but eventually meet it again. as our eyes met, the corners of his mouth upturned, and it warmed my heart- unexpectedly.
ive never opened up to someone this easily. but somehow it felt right- like we were right.
i sat up, now leaning my head against the headboard.
"jimin i- theres things i feel i should tell you."
"hmmm? you can tell me anything." he says as i twirl locks of his hair between my fingers anxiously.
just the mere thought of it made me tear up.
would he leave me?
or would he love me the same?
