Backstory: She learned to fight from her father. She's known Legolas since they were elflings, their fathers were friends with one another so Legolas and Tala saw each other quite often. During a battle many, many years after they grew up, he saved her life. They fell in love and were in a happy relationship with each other but then things changed. When they were older, twenty years before Tala joined the Company of Thorin Oakinsheild, Legolas left for Mirkwood after a visit with Tala, he never returned to visit her again. He left her and she didn't see him again until the company came into Mirkwood. After everything with the battle of the five armies, they were never separated again.

•Tala wears a wooden ring on her left pinky. Legolas gave it to her when they were children.
