Backstory: Her family owns a chain of tourist destinations around the world, making them very, very wealthy. Her father ran the entire thing, but with his astonishing success came an unhealthy amount of stress, which really took a toll on his health. Though Hiromi was blissfully unaware of this, her father always wore a smile on his face, no one could tell that he was suffering. He taught Hiromi from a young age to treat others with kindness and to never act as if she's above them because of her status. Her mother felt the same way, and Hiromi had a very happy and full life. But everything changed when she was fourteen years old, she came home to find her beloved father unconscious on the floor. An ambulance was called, but by then it was too late, he had already died of a heart attack. Things changed for Hiromi after that, her life seemed... Dull, after her father's death. Her mother closed herself off, running the business by herself and rarely interacting with Hiromi. This took a toll on the young teen, she became closed off and depressed. Though things got better for her after she was enrolled at Ouran Academy. She met the Host Club because of a friend, and she quickly hit it off with the group of boys, particularly Tamaki. Ever since then, her life has been so much brighter.
Trivia:
• She and Tamaki eventually get together a few months after Haruhi joins the Host Club.
• She is rarely at her home, it's too quiet there and it's so lonely in that big house. She mostly spends her time outside of her home with her friends.
• She has a shaky relationship with her mother. They rarely speak to each other and when they do they never get along, her mother doesn't approve of many things in Hiromi's life, especially her relationship with Tamaki, and this causes a strain between the two of them.
• She loves reading, she got this love of books from her father. Every night he would read to her, taking her on adventures through history and fantasy alike, and she loved it.
• Her father is from England, and her mother is from Japan.
