We have a thing at my school called national history Day (nhd)
Every year they have a theme.
This years themem was conflict and compromise.
There were about 5 different Berlin Walls and treaties of paris
But there was one that was different
this one was called the newsboy strike of 1899
And the maker was named something really ridiculous like LaneyBugRants or something.
That is right folks, I did newsies as my nhd project.
And I'm sooooo proud of it.
The background is covered on newspapers and I have 8 pics of New York on it and it is just amazing.
I like the newsies if you couldn't tell.
My English teacher really liked it so I'm hoping for a good grade *crosses fingers*
We also had to write a paper and mine was about 10 pages long not including works sighted.
It was a fun 2-3 weeks. My house was covered in newspapers and cardboard and glue but it was worth it.
