Guilt

What happened to your little girl bleeding out on the floor?

There is no life in her dull eyes anymore.

With scarlett liquid all around,

And her heart will no longer pound.

What will you do now

With all the guilt you harbor?

You are no longer proud.

What happened to your little girl just laying there?

Why weren't you more aware?

You shouldn't have ignored the signs,

You didnt even care.

Now that she's long gone are you singing a different tune?

Are you realizing all the things you did and didn't  do?

Are you regretting all the times you should have been there?

For all the times you would mock her and she would just sit and stare.

What about the father who swore he'd stay?

You just let him leave even when you knew your daughter wouldn't be okay.

Now that shes dead and gone do you wish you were a better mom?

Do you wish you would've cared that something was wrong,

When she locked herself in her room and slept all day long.

Instead you called her lazy,

Messed up and crazy.

What are you gonna do with all that guilt?

With all the flowers after the funeral that are sure to wilt.

Now you have this secret you will be sure to keep.

Its that you played a huge role in your daughters defeat...
