Angela finished her morning routine she always followed that consisted of her brushing her hair, brushing her teeth, using the bathroom, showering, and all of the above. But now that she finally looked presentable, she was hungry. Her stomach was pulling at itself and growling, almost like an unfriendly dog. Groaning, she scurried out of the med bay and to the break room rather suddenly. She could smell the breakfast and it smelled delightful. She saw the break room in her sight and there it was in all of its glory.

She quickly rushed to the counters and grabbed a plate, eager to stuff her face. "Hungry?" Angela turned around to see Genji, standing up from his chair. She didn't even notice him because her mission had completely hindered her train of thought. He snickered and nodded his head at Angela's confused look. But Angela was just looking at him a little too much because he looked slightly cleaner than usual and he looked refined. Angela cleared her throat as red crept up her neck and tinted her face. He raised an eyebrow with a smirk and she just continued to get food, "Yes I am very hungry. Apparently so hungry to a point where I cannot think properly." She finally stuffed her plate with eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast. Turning on her heels, she began to walk away. "Angela, where are you going?" She turned around again curiously and rose her eyebrow. "What do you mean? I always eat in the med bay." He looked at her sourly and she rolled her eyes playfully then began to walk away again.

Genji pouted at her receding figure and decided to go after her, determined to spend more time with her. He let out a huff of breath as he stealthily followed her and eventually she actually got to the med bay and walked into it, the door slamming making a loud click noise. Genji smiled triumphantly as he approached the doors himself and pushed onto them, essentially entering the med bay. Then he saw Angela sitting at her desk again and eating her overfilled plate.

Angela looked over to the door when she heard the door then laid eyes upon Genji's figure. She tilted her head in confusion and with a full mouth she said, "Is something wrong, Genji?"  He shook his head, "No I just wanted to spend time with you." She scrunched her face in suspicion but went along with it and beckoned him over. He smiled brightly at her and it compelled her to smile, his happy go lucky and silly attitude clearly affecting her being. It was so hard not to smile around because he was just so contagious. Angela loved it, she loved spending time with him.

He sat down in another chair near her and decided to initiate the conversation. "How's your morning so far?" She huffed our a breath, "A lot better than usual is all I can really say." He raised an eyebrow, "Oh? Why do you say that?" "Well, it's been awhile since I got an appropriate good nights sleep." He scrunched his face in humor which caused Angela to look over at him with suspicion. "Is it because you slept next to me?", he playfully stated. Blushing, she turned away and grunted stubbornly, "No. I usually have to stay up to do paperwork and other nights I can't sleep." He smirked at her which caused her to roll her eyes.

The rest of the morning basically spent talking and terrible jokes. They were just getting closer every day and one thing Angela knew was that she did enjoy spending the night with Genji. It was platonic she supposed.
