Consciousness flowed into Genji and his eyes fluttered open and he instinctively stretched ever so slightly to prevent from waking Angela. Letting out a small sigh he settled back down and snuggled Angela more and he began to think.

Genji was supposed to visit Hanamura within the next two weeks to discuss his leave from the Shimada Empire and to fully pledge to overwatch and blackwatch because he was ready to move on with his life. The Shimada Empire to him was evil and systematically wrong as it was almost like an assassination system with a sprinkle of the black market. He wanted nothing to do with it anymore and he was ready to leave. He would leave in the within the next month or so to get it out of his way...

He feared how Hanzo would react since he was still heavily associated with the Shimada empire and was neck deep into their affairs. It definitely wouldn't go smooth but Genji would do anything to get away. Overwatch made him feel at home and welcomed, something that temple could never do.
And now Angela was in the picture.
He had always fancied a girl once in awhile but that was when he was young and wild. Genji always had fun going to arcades, talking to girls, and even having quick flings in the back stage of his life which was his escape from his Shimada name. He never liked it.
But, despite that, Genji had never seen a woman.
He looked back over to Angela sleeping peacefully. Impressive feat to see a woman with so many responsibilities and burdens sleeping so quietly. Genji stared for a little as he propped himself up with one arm and laid on his side. He stared around his room too, it was pretty bare. Coming to Overwatch was something he did on a whim, something planned last minute and he's honestly a little impressed he got accepted. But, nevertheless he was grateful and for several reasons. But, the only things besides his necessities that he brought was his katana and just a laptop with some movies. At his core he was still a youngin but in his defense Overwatch was a major leap in growing up and maturing.
The sun began to rise and the light crept into the quarters and brushed against everything it could reach, especially Angela. Genji could only stare and he could never get sick of how well Angela and the sun worked together. Her fair skin and her blonde hair was accentuated by the golden morning rays and she quite actually glowed. It was stunning. And it almost completely slipped Genji's mind that he had the gifted pleasure of kissing her last night. He was so damn lucky...
It was such a last minute thing and it was so poorly planned but he sure as hell was glad he did it. It was all coming back to him now. Even though Angela appears as an Angel in the morning sun, the bright light of the moon made her look just as beautiful, and nothing was more entrancing than being able to see such a sight before locking lips with her. Her lips were soft and sweet, even more than he originally anticipated in his dreams. He couldn't help it but he knew he was falling in love with her and in such a short window of time.

Almost on cue with his incessant daydreaming coming to a halt, Angela grunted and began to stir awake as she stretched. Her eyes slowly opened and as she realized where she was, her sweetly groggy voice cut through the silence Genji comfortably established. "Good morning, Genji," she cooed. The corner of Genji's lips pulled up into a smile, which in turn got Angela to do the same. "Good morning, Angela."

Angela loved Genji's voice. Admittedly, Angela had never been in such a spot with a man. She never was in a position where she admitted to herself how much she loved a man's voice and how she falling in love. She never thought about men because she was always working and studying to be the brilliant biologist she is now, but it took a toll because it caused Angela to live a lonely lifestyle. She never needed a man and that she knew, but now being in Genji's arms as she sleeps makes her wonder how she made it this far.

She was a bashful person when it came to intimacy because she's very oblivious to what you should when you're involved romantically. But, she assumed to go with what she wanted and with that she slowly turned around and wrapped her arms around Genji's torso while also burying her face into his chest. He had a white shirt on which matched the white color of his room and she loved it, white and yellow were her favorite colors.
Genji smiled and wrapped his free arm around her and snuggled her but he eventually just gave in and plopped down to use both of his arms.

He'd discuss Hanamura later, he just wanted to enjoy this moment.
