Dan's POV

*Two Months Later*

*June*

Naturally, with the end of school coming I decided to make yet another 'How To Survive The Last Day Of School' video. Dil was so happy to star in the video as the bus driver and honestly, he looked so cute dressed up. Phil was constantly helping Isabella cram for her exams, which is an awful situation by the way. Why? Because Phil and Isabella do not know how to function in a stressful environment with homework as the major priority. Example, they were studying for her math exam and four minutes later Phil was running around the kitchen table panicking and Isabella' was on the floor cradled in a ball rocking back and forth. And there was me and Dil standing in the hallway, "Daddy? What are they doing? Are they okay?" he asked as I just took his hand was turned him away from them,

"No Dil, they're just studying for exams," I smiled at him as he shot me a confused look, "one day you'll be like that too"

*Couple Days Later After Exams*

Phil and I had decided to have a fun-filled day with the kids, we didn't really want to go to town so we decided to order pizza and have a Dan & Dil VS Isabella & Phil!  We were about halfway through the game when the whole building shook. Like it literally shook. Isabella and I ran to the window and what we saw made my heart stop. Several buildings, only seventy kilometers from us was crumbling into dust as flames spat from the roof and all the windows. Flying in the sky was a plane, I looked back at the building, it had a plane in it. This was a suicide bombing! Phil switched on the T.V to the news as the lady on the screen seemed very worried. Phil picked up Dil as Isabella and I moved closer to see, her hand taking Dil's as mine took hers.

"BREAKING NEWS!" lit up the screen as the lady seemed to be trying to form a sentence, "Ladies and gentlemen just moments ago London was the victim of a vicious suicide bombing. Authorities are asking that everyone close to the area remain inside and off the streets as our airforce takes care of the extra plane."

My eyes slowly moved back to the window but I was soon snapped back into reality when Phil placed his hand on my shoulder, "Dan?" his hand reached out for mine as I took hold of his, we looked at the kids, "We're going to be fine" Isabella knew we weren't entirely sure if we would be but she nodded and faked a small smile for Dil's sake.

*Seven Long Hours Later*

It seemed that hours had gone by since the bombing, and that was true. We had all sat in the living room on the couches playing cards waiting for either good news or another building to burn to bits, we didn't know how long we'd have to stay inside but at least we had each other, well that and a lot of food. Suddenly, everything started to shake but too didn't last long. Phil and I rushed to the window and Phil squeezed my hand tight as we saw what had happened, another three buildings, closer to us this time, were bursting into flames and black smoke. A small hand tapped my arm, "Daddy?" I tilted my head to see a confused and scared Dil holding tight to Isabella's leg. I looked at Phil as we both knelt down taking both of their shaking hands,

"Hey, we're together yeah?" Phil slightly smiled as Dil and Isabella nodded, "Then we'll all be safe, okay?" I smirked, he was too precious sometimes. The kids nodded as Phil and I pulled them into a group hug,

"Now," Phil smiled, "off to bed with the both of you" they laughed and walked away as Phil and I stood up. His hand around my waist as I laid my head on his shoulder, "Don't worry Dan we're going be just fine"
