'Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life' - Confucious
I went to work early today because BTS were scheduled to do their Spring Day and Not Today comeback. I was in the office early, I placed Jimin's black and red plaid scarf on my table, internally reminding myself to return it when I see him. I ate a chocolate cookie while waiting for my laptop to load. The office is quiet and empty, so I decided to check BTS's schedule.
Oh, music show rehearsal at 10AM today. That explains why the office is so deserted. I checked my phone and there were a few unread messages.
"Y/N*, you in office rn?" - Jaeyoon
"Y/N*, respond ASAP," - Jaeyoon
" Y/N*, we need help," - Hyeri
After the reading the messages, I called Hyeri to check up on her, it seems like the messages were really urgent.
" Y/N*, like finally, glad you called. We need your help. One of the assistants is sick and we need someone to help out. Jaeyoon figured you're our best choice since you know how the costumes look like and you know the plans." Hyeri stopped for a while to catch a breath of air before continuing, "So, can you help us get the costumes ready? You know where the bins are, right? Where are you now?"
"Woah, woah, woah, easy there. Yes I'm at the office, yes I can help but how am I going to transport all the costumes to the music show? I don't have a car." I replied.
"Hahaha, you silly goose, I'm on the way to the company to pick you and the costumes up. You sure you can manage? I know there's a lot of bins, maybe you can get the other staffs to help out. Meet me at the basement parking. See you."
"Drive safe.." I said and she hung up on me before I even finish my sentence.
Great. Ok. I can handle this. I think.
I checked the dates and the schedule to make sure I have the correct outfit for later performance. I got the correct bins and tried to find a way to haul all these bins to the elevator. One of the staffs offered a foldable trolley to move the bins. He helped me carried all the clear bins onto the trolley and strapped them secure. I moved the bins down to the basement and waited for Hyeri to come.
I checked the time, 8:30AM. There's still some time left. I pushed the trolley to the side so that I was not blocking the elevator and sat down on the floor. I called Jaeyoon and told him about the plan, he was ecstatic to her about it but he was also anxious when he found out that I'm still at the company and not in the car yet.
9:00AM. Where is she now? We are going to be late. I was still waiting in the parking lot. She should be here by now. Is traffic really that horrible today? I was getting really anxious, I didn't want BTS to be late for their rehearsals. Their costumes are just as important as they are in music shows, although I must admit, they look nice in everything they wear.
Hyeri pulled over in front of me when I was about to call her and ask her where she was. She got down and quickly help me loaded the things into the car.
"Buckle up, we're late. Traffic is so horrible. Help me turn on the Naver map for the fastest route to the music show." She said as she pressed Jaeyoon's number on the dashboard.
"Where are you at?! BTS is here but the costumes are not here yet," Jaeyoon said sounding really tensed.
"I just picked up Y/N*, we're on our way now. Can you do their makeup first? They still need to do the dry rehearsals, so we should be there by then," Hyeri replied with calmness in her voice.
