A Wish That Came True

Chapter 4

"Sure dears! You can stay here as long as you want", Maiya Yashoda said. "Thank you maiya. You have done a great favour on us",Sanjana replied. Maiya Yashoda said with a demanding voice," You have called me maiya, so you are my daughter from now on and parents don't do favour on their child...Now come on you two". Maiya hugged them and held their hands and took them inside the house immediately. Kanha on the other hand stuck his tongue out to all the ladies who were planning to give refuge to the girls...

Maiya Yashoda showed them their room and told them to refresh themselves and make themselves comfortable."Sanju! Maiya is so nice to us without any formalities", Kirti said.
Sanjana was lost in her own world. She kept thinking about the meet with her lord she couldn't believe that this was actually happening with her. Her thoughts made her cheeks flush...Kirti shook her out by literally shaking her,"All your prayers have finally come true. I'm so happy for you...If you are done blushing can we go?  I'm hungry!".
Sanjana said shaking her head,"Okay, let's see if maiya has something to calm that stomach of yours"....

Kirti's POV

Everything is going so fast - us coming here, meeting Krishna, living in Lord of the universe's house! So hard to process. All the odds Sanjana had went through seems like it finally paid off. I don't know what is happening but I do know it is happening for good after all it is my besties wish...

Sanjana's POV

I can't believe on the fact that I'm HERE! With him! And I was so dumb when we first met, I didn't even touched his feet or say how greatful I am to get a glimpse of him. I wish I could stop time or my heart...I'm not able to even sleep as soon as I close my eyes I see him calling me and when I open my eyes, his image has imbibed itself in them. I wish every part of my soul to keep chanting his name. I am in love with him but this is madness! I don't know how to distract myself  from him, it is like the more I try to block my mind the more he seems to be teasing me...

"Girls! I need your help. Today we have Lord Vishnu's Aarti and we have invited the entire village to seek his blessings. I have so much work to do. Will you help me?", Maiya asked. Sanjana heard maiya but her heart and soul was searching for her Kanha..."Where is he?", Sanjana said without realising it came out loud. "Who are you searching for?",Maiya asked. Sanjana mentally cursed herself,"N-No one I was just wondering where is Kanha?"."Oh! Him I sent him to bring some pooja materials. He and Balram will be back by noon",Maiya assured her. "Now about the help?".   Kirti wondered ," But..."."Of course we will! Tell us Maiya what are we supposed to do?",Sanjana agreed and signalled Kirti not to say anything. She knew Kirti wanted to ask why was she worshiping her own son but Kanha would not like it since Maiya sees him as his son and her love is pure, Kanha will give anything to keep his mother happy...
"Thank you. I don't know what I would have done without you girls .I need help in decorations and in making prashad"."I'm not good in cooking but I can help you with the decorations for sure", Kirti expressed. "So Sanjana accompany with me in the kitchen and Kirti there are baskets of flowers kept in the angan. Let's get to work..."
