A Wish That Came True

Chapter 7

"Now close your eyes and come with me",Krishna said. Sanjana dutifully closed her eyes and allowed him to take her where ever he wished taking her. Krishna decided to test her by asking,"Won't you ask where I'm taking you or why I brought you with me?", to which Sanjana replied,"No, I didn't ask because journey matters more than destination when I'm with you. Wherever you will take me I'll be happy to follow you, I trust you,I know if my life is in your hands then there will be no such thing as bad things every thing that will happen in my life will be for everyone's good". Krishna smiled and accepted her as his hearing her dedication towards him.

Krishna said "We are here!".

Sanjana's POV

When I opened my eyes the first thing that I noticed was his ocean like deep beautiful eyes filled with love then my eyes fell on his mesmerizing smile which had the power to light the whole universe. Kanha chukled,"If you are done admiring me look around". To which my cheecks turned a deep shade of red and I did as he instructed. What I saw was just beyond words. The earth was glowing at the touch of his feet, the breeze felt like it was saying praises of my Lord, the trees felt like they were cherishing every moment he was with them and different colourful flowers with there fragrance filling the air made it look like heaven on earth.

He grinned to which all that beauty faded in front of him and sat under the tree. He took out his flute and the music surrounded the environment. I tried hard to not melt into his music but I couldn't stop my feet from dancing. As I twirled under the tree flowers showered down on me making the most memorable moment of my life...

Again I tried resisting myself to sit beside him and rest my head on his shoulder all my efforts were futile. All I was experiencing  was pure bliss.

He stopped playing and I felt refreshed. He got up and extended his hand to help me up.

They returned home and were greeted with interrogation...

Dau said"Where were you two and who leaves a pooja in between? Do you know how much scoldings I took for you two from Maiya? I had such a hard time to convince her that you went because of some important work." Krishna smiled mischievously and replied," We went to spend some time with each other which is important. You did all that for your little brother that's why you are the best Dau! And I love you so much!".

"Are you done? It won't be easy to calm maiya down she is very mad",Balram said crossing his arms. "Oh! Don't worry she can't stay mad at me for a long time",Krishna said winking at his brother. Balram sighed but he was content seeing him happy.

"Where were you?!", Maiya shouted at Kanha pulling his ears to which Sanjana who was silently standing winced. "Ahhh! Maiya it hurts! I was just spending some time with Sanjana. I was just showing her around", Krishna replied with big cute eyes. Maiya melted seeing her son in pain and hugged him. She asked stroking his hair,"Is my laal hungry ? You didn't have much from morning". "I'll eat only when you will feed me", Krishna said with a pout. "Sanjana and Kirti you girls also come, you must have been exhausted due all the work", Maiya invited...

Seeing this bond between son and mother a different kind of brightness spread in the entire house.
