after a few days of planning they were ready to go
tyler stretched and shook josh, "im up" josh said, they got ready, and packed their stuff, put it in the car, "ready?" tyler asked, "hell yeah" josh replied. tyler was a bad driver because he would get anxious, so josh drove, they stopped at target and bought a cooler, ice, and food, "let's go to my parents now" tyler said, josh nodded, after 10 minutes of driving they got to tylers parents house, "let's like make out when we knock" josh laughed, "totally" tyler said. josh and tyler held hands while they walked up to their door, they started kissing a lot and josh knocked, tylers mom opened and saw them, "oh my god tyler, you disgust me" his mom said, they stopped, josh looked over at tyler, 'oh no what's he about to say' josh thought, "yeah, i'm dating a guy, AND we have sex, it's great" tyler smirked, josh blushed and looked down, she pushed tyler and josh hard, "go away" she said, "not a problem" tyler said, they ran back into the car and sped away.

tyler opened the sun roof and climbed through it, "WOOO!" tyler yelled, they both laughed. he sat back down and put music on, after 1 hour tyler was asleep and the world was drifting away into fields and woods, what josh didn't realize is was tyler was awake and listening to him, josh talked to himself to get over his anxiety. "i'm excited but nervous, i'm glad tylers here with me, i love him so much...i hope he knows that, tyler..im not good at confrontation but i love you so much and i'll do my best to stay with you", josh said. tyler started moving and yawning, "hey.." he said, "hi" josh replied, "how much longer until we get to the motel?" tyler asked, "4 hours" josh said, "ugh" tyler said, "what's wrong" josh asked, "i dunno.." tyler lied, josh could tell something was really wrong, he pulled over, luckily there was no one on this highway, "tyler what's wrong? please tell me" josh said, tyler sighed, "im just scared" he said, "of what" josh asked, "life..this trip being shit and us fighting" he replied, "why would u say that babe" josh said, "i'm sorry it's my head..it does this-" tyler was interrupted by josh kissing him, he relaxed, josh could always relax tyler by hugging him or kissing him. they held hands, "your skin is always so warm and soft" tyler said, "that's my secret" josh smiled, tyler giggled, "better" josh asked, "yeah" tyler said. they stayed holding hands and got back to driving. they sang together, then tyler sang some of his favorite old songs, they'd never smiled or laughed this hard since they'd been together. "remember when we first kissed" tyler asked, "yeah" josh said, "wasn't it beautiful" he said, "not as beautiful as you" josh said, tyler blushed, he liked when josh complimented him.
four hours later

they pulled into the motel, it didn't look sketchy, just old. when they got out tyler hugged josh, "thank you" he said, "no problem babe" josh replied kissing tylers head, "i like when you call me babe" tyler said, "me too" they both giggled. tyler followed josh into the office, "hello" a sweet old lady was at the desk, "how can I help you boys" she said, "we need to check in" josh said with a little smile, "ok name please", "josh dun or joshua dun" he said, tyler looked around, he grabbed some pamphlets, "ah here you are, a room for two, would you like a queen bed or two twins?" she asked, josh looked to tyler who had a worried look, "a queen" josh said, "prefect" she said, "there's just some paper work that you need to sign" she started printing, "you two boyfriends" she asked, tyler containing his smile said "yes", "well if your were worried about gay people being rejected don't be, we love the gays here " she smiled and held up a tiny pride flag, "aww" tyler and josh said, she handed josh and tyler the papers and they signed them, then she handed them the keys, "have a good day boys" she said, "you too" they both said. tyler ran to the room door, 'he looks so excited, i love when he's happy it makes me happy' josh thought, tyler unlocked the door, "wow" he said, "what" josh replied, the room was beautiful for a motel, at least they thought so, it was dark but it hard wood carvings into the bed and the ceiling, there was no AC so they opened up the window. they brought their bags and some food in the room. "what do think" josh asked, "it's everything i couldn't asked for in this trip" tyler said kissing josh, "im glad" josh replied, they kissed a lot more. the sunset came thru the window, the whole room was orange and yellow, tyler whipped his face, "what's wrong ty" josh asked, tyler put his face in josh's chest, "thank you...thank you so much josh" he said through tears, "your welcome" josh said, he held tyler for a bit. when he was done they took some aesthetic selfies, and went to bed.
