Jen's POV
His eyebrow twitches when he looks down at my mouth. When his gaze locks on mine again, the look in his eyes is more serious. "When did you know?"
"When did I know what?" I ask.
"When did you realize you were... you know..."
In love, I finish his sentence in my head. I wrap my arms around his waist and interlace my fingers on his back, smiling. "Do you know that feeling when you dream about someone, and when you wake up, you can't look at them the same way? All of a sudden, you're aware of that person's presence every second of every day, because you feel like they might know you dreamed about them?"
His eyebrow twitches again. I love it when it does that. "Yeah."
"When Daniel told me about you, it was like the rest of the world became a blur and you shifted into focus," I say. "It was just like I woke up from a dream. That's what it was like falling for you."
By the time I finish my sentence, my voice has dropped three octaves, and Colin is just beaming. I stick my tongue between my teeth as I study his face. "Okay, your turn. How did you know?"
He leans in, presses his lips on my forehead and inhales deeply. "Your hair."
"My hair?" I look up, but he's still leaning against my forehead.
"Yeah," he says. "When you get in the car in the morning before driving to set, I can always smell your shampoo. Something with... coconuts. And probably some fancy flower, but I'm not that great at matching flowers with the right scent."
"Minosa flower," I say, grinning.
"That one. It was irresistible. Still is."
