It was the next day. I was in my bathroom. Staring into the mirror for about 2 hours now. Make a decision. A decision, that's what I had to do. I needed to make a choice. Sean or Lucas.
I always told myself. If I had to pick between two people, I wouldn't choose any. Knowing you have to pick between people is the worst situation you could ever put yourself in. And the worst thing is, I can't choose.
Lucas. Lucas is a great guy. He's hood, smart, classy. Nice smile. Nice hair. Can sing. His personality is just great. And his looks. He really knows how to put a smile on my face
Then there's Sean. He's also a great guy. He's smart. Can be classy at times. Amazing smile. Amazing hair. Can also sing. And dance too. His personality is amazing. And his looks. He's multi-talented. He also knows how to put a smile on my face.
What am I gonna do. I need to make a decision. And fast.
I sigh and rub my face. I put my hair up and head to my room. I lay down and turn on the TV. Let's watch some cartoons to get these boys off of your mind.
1 hour later
My phone rings on the nightstand and I pick it up. I look at the caller ID. It's Lucas
Maya:Hello
Lucas: Hey Maya. You good?
Maya: Ya I'm ok. How about you
Lucas:I'm good. But anyway, I was wondering if you maybe wanna come to the studio with me. I'm gonna record something.
Maya:Sure I'd love too. Will it just be us?
Lucas:Nah my friend Dillyn will be there.
Maya:Ok
Lucas:Ok I'll pick you up in 20. See you soon gorgeous
Maya:Ok bye
I cover my face with my hands and blush as he called me gorgeous. I got an idea. I'll see who I like better by hanging out with each. Then who ever I have feelings for I'll go out with. I nod and stand to my closet. What to wear? Hmmm
I pull out my red Adidas hoodie with the matching sweats and put it on. I wear my white Air Forces and a good watch. I gonna keep my hair up and my makeup is already done. I spray some perfume on grab my bag. I pack my wallet, phone, headphones, charger, and a little snack.

I guess I'm ready. I head out and sit at the front. Lucas car soon pulls up and I get in.
"Hey gorgeous" He says and kisses my cheek. I blush and smile at him
"Hey handsome" I giggle and put my seatbelt on
"Alright let's go"He says and we drive to the studio. On the way there Lucas plays this song from his phone and smiles
"Do you like this?" he asks
As I listen, I bump my head to the beat. This is really good. His voice is nice
"I like it. Your music is good" I say and dance a little bit in my seat. He looks at me and smiles and looks back at the road. We got to the studio and walk inside. It looked pretty cool. There were music awards, trophies, and plaques all over. Wow this is amazing!
Me and Lucas head into a room with a booth and see someone working on a beat. Lucas walks over to him and they do a handshake
"Maya this is Dillyn" he says and we shake hands
"Hey how you doing?" He smiles and I return one
"Good. Thank you" I sit down in a chair beside him and Lucas walks into the booth. Dillyn turns on a beat and Lucas starts.
As he's saying the words, he winks and looks at me. I blush and look down. I feel butterflies in my stomach.
I feel my phone vibrate and see Larks name pop up
Lark🙄❤️I need you right now. Sister alert! CODE RED!
Me and Lark have a thing called "sister alert" it's when we have to be there for each no matter what. And when it's a code red, that means I have to be there ASAP.
I look up and Lucas walks out the booth.
"That was good man. We don't need to record again your good. I'll see you later though, I gotta record now" Dillyn says and they do there handshake.
"Hey Lucas. Um I'm sorry but I have to go. It's an emergency" I say and he nods
"Thats ok. I'm done here anyway. I was hoping we could maybe hang out afterwards but it's whatever, maybe another time" he says and his face softens and he puts his hands in his pockets. I step forward and put my hands on each side of his face and pull him into a kiss. He kisses back wrapping his arms around me.
"Hey hey hey! Get outta here with all that PDA stuff. I'm trying to work" Dillyn says and we pull away laughing. He pecks my lips once more put stays close to me.
"I'll drive you" he says and I nod. I say bye to Dillyn and we head back to the car. He starts the car and drives me home.
"Bye Lucas" I say and kiss his cheek
"Bye gorgeous" he winks at me. And I smile and head up to Larks dorm. Before I could even knock, Lark opens the door and pulls me in. I look around and everything is a mess.
I see a broken vase on the floor and stuff thrown onto the floor. I walk into her room and her room is even worse compared to what the living room and kitchen looks like.
"What the hell happened here?!" I asked her and she started to cry.
"Kenneth and I had a big argument. We got mad at each other and started throwing stuff around. Then he said he was done and left" She started to sob and I pulled her into a big hug. She hugs me back tightly and cry's on my shoulder.
"I'm so sorry Lark" How could they break up? What were they arguing about so big to trash the dorm and break up? And where could Kenneth had gone? So many questions need answers
