It was now Saturday. This week was...... I can't even describe what this week was. But I've been with Lark every second of everyday cause she was hurting. She really loved Kenneth. In Lark's words, they were gonna get married and have cute little babies and live in Italy together.
I know she's crazy. But they've been together and been thorough a lot with each other for things just to end like this. When we all hang out in a group Kenneth would talk to everyone but Lark, but Lark wouldn't say anything to anybody because she was so sad. And it's really weird cause Lark loves to talk.
I really wanna see her happy again so I decided that we all go to the beach today. Sadly Kenneth was gonna be there so Lark didn't wanna go. But I told her not to worry about him and just have fun.
As the guys were putting the stuff in the trunk. I pulled Sean to side.
"Hey, have you talked to Kenneth?" I asked him. We've been trying to find out why they broke up
"Ya but he won't say why. Every time I ask him he changes the subject" he says and I nod. I walk away but I'm pulled back and into Sean's arms
"Sean, what are you doing" I say laughing a bit. He can't see my face but it's as red as a tomato.
"I just wanted to hold you that's all. I miss holding you" he says and pulls me closer so my back is against his chest. I smile a bit.
"You missed me, that's nice" I say and he turns me around. He kisses my lips and pulls away.
"Just wait until we get to the beach" he says and walks away. I roll my eyes and take a seat in the car. Everyone gets in the Van Gabe rented for the day and we head to the beach. On the way there we jam out to music and make jokes.
When we get there we unload the van and find a spot. There isn't really a lot of people here which is nice. When we find a spot. I lay my towel on the sand and Lark sets up her chair beside me. Nat lays her towel down and open up the umbrella so she's not in the sun for long.
"I wanna tan"Tati says and she takes off her cover up and lays on her towel with sun glasses on. Tahani throws us some sunscreen and we thank her.
When everyone is settled, some decide what they wanna do.
"Who wants to come in the water with me" Gabe asks and Bailey, Tahani, Jade, Lexee, Kaycee, Tati, Will, Josh, Julian, Sean, And Kenneth out there hands up. Lark puts her hand up slowly and I smile. She's starting to have fun.
Everyone takes off there cover up and runs to the water. Lark takes off hers to show she's in a lavender bikini. Will nudges and points to Lark. Kenneth looks her way and stares. Aww Kenneth. Look at what you lost.
Lark then walks over to the water and starts splashing Bailey with water. They start doing it then everyone joins in. She smiles and looks at me. I smile back at her and laugh
"Guess it's just us" Nat says and we do our little handshake.
"Hey Nat can you take a picture for me?" I ask her and she nods. She grabs my phone and I do a pose on the sand. I take one for her too
"Are you posting yours?" I ask and she shakes her head
"No but you should. And make sure I get photo credits" She says and I laugh nodding

I look beside me and see Sean. He picks me up and walks me somewhere. I look back and see the girls giving me a thumbs up. We walk a little until we are around rocks. We sit on them and admire the view.
"This view is breathtaking" I saw looking forward and cross my legs
"I know. Your are breathtaking" Sean says and sits behind me wrapping his arms around me. His body temperature felt warm against mine. I felt safe in his arms.
"Your so corny" I smiled and he smiled back kissing my head.
"Maya. I wanted to say that I'm sorry again. I really am sorry for what I did and how I made you feel. I really really like you and I just wanted you to know that" he says. I'm quite for a little bit. I don't know what to say. I need to put a lot of thinking before I make a decision.
I was taken by shock when Sean lifts my face to his and kisses me. I kiss back and he leans forehead on mine. I smile in to the kiss and pull away. I think I know who I want now.
"I love you" he says and hugs me. I'm silent, I don't know what to say
"I think we should get back to the others" I say and he nods we get up and walk in silence. A comfortable silence.
"Finally you guys are back. We packed everything, it's time to leave" Bailey says. I put my shorts back on and we walk to the van. I turn my head to look for Lark and see her walking behind all of us. I walk with her and notice she's staring at something. I look and see Kenneth hugging this girl then start walking Josh and Will.
I look back at Lark and her face is red as she bites her lip and her eyes are glossy.
I hug her and she breathes out.
"Moving on is gonna be so freaking hard" She laughs a bit and I smile sadly and look at her
"I'm gonna be with you through it all" I said and she looks at me.
"I love you so much Maya. I couldn't ask for a better best friend" we smile at each other and we sit in the car. It's a silent drive home. As we are driving, I text Lucas
