As we arrived at Sean's, I take a breath in. While driving here I was thinking of what I wanna say to him. And what he will say to me. You know that feeling where you want something to happen, but it doesn't go as planed. Ya I'm having that feeling right now.
"Ok. You already know the drill. I sit and wait and you go in and do what you gotta do." Lark says. I laughed at her and she smiles at me
"Ugh stop laughing. You know what I mean. Now go!" She says and shoos me. I walk up to his door and take a breath in. I knock on it and Sarah opens it. Her face lights up and she pulls me in a warming hug.
"Maya! So good to see you again. How are you?" She says rubbing my back smiling
"I'm good! It's great to see you too. I'm here to talk to Sean" I say and she nods. She lets me in and closes the door
"Sean is in the garage practicing. We turned it into a little studio for him to dance in. The door is right over there" She says pointing at a white door at the end of the hall. I thank her and walk over to it.
As I open the door. I am amazed at Sean's talent. Just the way he dances is a piece of art. The way his body moves. How he hits beats. The looks he has on his face. The groove in his body. Just perfect. I never wanna look away.
I close the door and walk over to watch him. He doesn't even noticed I'm here till he stops. He looks at me in the mirror, he smiles and turns the music off
"Hey"
"Hi" I say to the asian boy standing in front of me. Why do I suddenly feel nervous?
"So what brings you here? I was gonna be back at campus in a hour or so" he asks seeming curious
"Oh I uh-came to talk to you. It's important" I stutter a bit
"Must be if you came all the way to my house" he jokes and takes a seat on the floor. I sit beside him and cross my legs.
It's quiet as he sits there waiting for me to say something. I don't even wanna talk about the reason I came in the first place. To complain. To complain about something I shouldn't care about. But, I do. I care a lot. Why do I? Do I like Sean? I think I do. And I wanna tell him. Right now. But what if he doesn't like me anymore. What if he rather Kaycee then me? But he said he didn't like her. Ugh for gods sake Maya just tell him!
"I like you" I say really fast. I was knocked out of my thoughts by my own self and said it straight.
I was studying his face to see if he heard me. And he did. His eyes lit up and he blushed a bit
"Wow. For some reason, I'm not surprised" he laughed and I laughed with him. It got quite.
"I uh, like you too. But you have a boyf-"
"We broke up actually" I say cutting him off
"Oh" He said. I see him hiding his face cause he must of been smiling. I smiled and held his hand. He looked at me and smiled.
"Look Maya. Your an amazing girl. Your funny, cheerful, beautiful, and you lighten up every room you enter. But I don't really know if I want a serious relationship right now. Can we maybe go back to the way we were before? You know, the pet names, flirting, hanging out. And maybe we could try something serious after. Ok?" He says. I was actually thinking of a whole different answer. But hey, what's the rush?
"Ok" I say. We both get up and hug each other. We pull away and stare into each other's eyes. Ugh it's one of those cliche movie scenes where the kiss is about to happen. Maya for the love of fudge! Kiss him already!
And that's what I did. I placed my lips on his. His lips were to die for😩😊.
I put both of my hands on his face and his were on my sides. We pulled away and he kissed my lips once more.
"I missed kissing you" he whispered. I blushed and hid my face in the crook of his neck. We stand there hugging each other until we are interrupted by a voice.
"Hey Sean, we have to get back to rehearsal. Got a busy day tom-Oh sorry. Am I interrupting?" Kaycee says walking in. Sean looked at her and smiled. He smiled the same way he would smile at me when we kissed.
"Not really. Just give us a minute" he says and she nods. She walks out closing the door behind her. I pull away from Sean and grab my phone.
"Where you goin-"
"Do you like Kaycee?" I ask cutting him off. He looks taken back but takes long to answer
"N-No" He stutters. I sigh and start walking out. He pulls me back and turns me towards him
"Maya. Please" He says with his eyes staring into mine
"Look Sean. At the end of the day your gonna have to choose one. And I don't do 2nd. Lemme know when you know what you want" I say to him. I kiss his cheek and walk out. As my head is hanging low, I open the car door and sit down. Lark looks at me and holds my hand. I look at her and frown. She starts the car and we drive in silence
I hope I'm not his second choice......

GUYSSSS I AM SOOOOO SORRY FOR TAKING SOOOOOO LONG TO UPDATE. SCHOOL HAS BEEN A REAL PAIN IN THE BUTT. BEEN STUDYING FOR EXAMS AND EVERYTHING. But don't worry cause school is officially done today and I'm back for good❤️
