i looked at my clock.

4:37 pm.

welp. i have a lot of time until 7. so i went and took a shower and took my time getting ready.

once i was done with everything i called an uber and headed to his house.

i figured he would just drive me back home when it comes down to it.

once i got there i knocked on the door.

no answer.

just his car was here.. so i'm guessing the other guys are out.

i twisted the door knob and it opened.

i walked in and looked around. no zion.

i walked into the kitchen and noticed that there was food that was halfway cooked just sitting there..

it seemed as if he just dropped everything to do something else.

i walked through the rest of the house to see if anything was up, getting to his room lastly.

i opened the door and saw zion laying in bed shirtless.

"sky.." zion said getting up.

"hey z-" i said but got interrupted by someone i had no clue was there as well.

"hey zion, where are your towels i wanna take a shower?" she said. then she noticed me.

"oh hey! i'm stassie, zion's girlfriend." she held out her hand for a handshake.

and that's what i did. i have her a handshake and told her my name.

and during the whole process zion just had a look on his face like he had shit himself.

after a nice little talk with stassie, i asked zion if he could walk me out while stassie took a shower.

as soon as we walked out his room and the door was closed he immediately started apologizing.

"sky, i'm so sorry i don't kn-" i cut him off.

i didn't want to hear it.

"you know what save it. this is the second time this has happened. you know what? i guess i'm just not good enough for anyone. yup , that's what this means. so thank you soooo much for helping me see this. but you know what i wish? i wish that you would've just been straight up with me instead of leading me on. you piece of shit, don't talk to me again" and as soon as i was done i walked out his front door and slammed it shut behind me.

i started walking home. it seemed like it took forever but really it was about a fifteen minute walk.

when i reached my house i noticed a car that didn't belong to anyone in my family..

but i did know whose car it was.

and just as i turned to walk straight to my house he walked out the car.

"hey sky. i would've texted but i thought i would just surprise visit you but then i saw you weren't here so i-" he stopped.

"sky what's wrong ? your makeup is all smeared.."

damn. was i really crying that hard?

i looked at him and noticed he had flowers in his drivers seat. i smiled a little bit. but i soon lost the smile with jacks next words.

"was it zion? i swear i'll beat his ass if i need too." he said as he clenched his jaw.

"no no. that won't be necessary. he just helped me figure out something. not the way i would've liked to figure it out. but now i see." i responded as calm as i could.

he just looked at me, thinking. ".. he didn't.." was all he said.

and that alone was enough to make me break down into more tears.

so, that's what i did. i nodded and completely broke down.

right in front of my ex.
