nineteen

I didnt know what to do so I froze. Jacob kisses me. It was nothing like Joey's. It was passionate and heart-stopping.

I get on top of jacob, not breaking the kiss. He puts his hands on my waist.

I remove my shirt, Jacobs as well. Jacobs flips me over so that he's on top and starts kissing my neck gently. I run my fingers through his silky hair and wrap my legs around his waist, pulling him closer.

Before anymore. I stop Jacob when he starts kissing my stomach. I pull away and get off the bed.

Jacob has a confused look on his face.

I grab Joey's sweatshirt and leave my room with a blanket.

I sleep on the couch. Jacob keeps insisting that I sleep in my bed but I refuse.

I wake up about 10 am. Still tired. I go in the kitchen and see Jacob raiding the cabinets.

"Um hey?" I say awkwardly

He turns around with morning eyes as if he just woke up.

"Uh d-do you have Advil? Or something to help my head?" He says while rubbing his eyes

"Uh yeah." I go to the medicine cabinet and grab some Advil.

When I come back jacobs head is down on the table.

"Here." I hand him the pills and a glass of water.

"Thanks" he says

While he takes the pills I ask him "Do you remember anything from last night?"

"Uh no. Only going to the party and that's it." He says

"But I should remember soon once I'm  sober." He says

"Right." I say

"Do you mind if I stay here? Until I'm feeling better?" He asks

"Uh- yeah- sure." I say

"I'm going to get Breakfast from McDonald's. Do you want anything?" I ask

"Pancakes. Eggs. And a hash brown" he smiles

"Okay." I say

I leave to McDonald's. And when I'm driving there, I wonder why Jacob doesn't hate me? I mean when he saw me kissing joey. Oh my gosh. Joey!

Why do I have a guilty feeling in my stomach? I get the food and go back to my house. When I walk through the front door I see all my friends on the couch with tears in their eyes ; Loren, Ariel, charles, Chad, Bryce, Mikey, Harvey, Blake, and Mia.

Jacobs on the couch with a shocked look on his face. They all look at me when I walk in. Loren and Ariel run up to me and hug me, tightly.

"Um, are you guys okay?" I ask

Loren and ariel pull back.

"You don't know?" Loren says

"Know what?" I shrug

Blake walks up to me and hugs me.

"Joey got in a car accident." Blake says
