S2 twenty three

i look over to y/n, still sleeping. my heart started beating, i get up and go upstairs quietly.

i put my ear against sophs door to try and listen.

"he really did that?" i hear soph say

"yep." lexi sighs

"i'm really sorry" soph says

my eyes widened. i back away from the door slowly and go into my room.

i shut and lock my door, i start pacing around my room. what if she finds out? she's never gonna trust me again. fuck. i fucked up.

i run my fingers through my hair trying to think about all the possibilities. i shook my head and opened my door to see soph and lexi.

fuck.

"joey." soph says in her serious voice

"what?"

"what the fuck, is wrong with you." sophs pokes my chest

"what the hell are you talking about?" i furrowed my eyebrows

"lexi told me you were flirting with her" she scoffs

"are you fucking kidding- that's not even what happened-"

"save the bullshit joey" she rolls her eyes

"i'm saying the fucking truth"

"for fucks sake, you have a girlfriend!" sophs yells/whispers

"i'm aware ! and i didn't flirt with lexi!" i say

"mhm. keep lying joey, it's not getting you anywhere." she folds her arms.

"whatever. you don't believe me, i'm not gonna bother convincing you." i scoff

soph rolls her eyes and goes back in her room with lexi.

i put my hand on my heart, feeling my heart beating rapidly. i take a deep breath and go downstairs.

i take another deep breath and sit back on the couch. i sit there, dozing into space.

"joey" someone shakes me

i look to my right to see y/n shaking me. i blink back into reality and rub my eyes. "oh hey princess, already awake?" i say

she nods "mhm" she rests her head on my lap. i run my fingers through her soft hair. admiring every detail of her profile. she's beautiful .

she looks up at me and smiles. i put my hand on her cheek and kiss her softly. she smiles in the kiss and puts her hand on my neck, pulling me closer.

"joey."

i pull away from the kiss and see lexi and sophia , arms crossed, to my left.

"what?" i roll my eyes

"are you gonna tell her or do we have to?" sophia scoffs

"sophia will you ever just stay the fuck out of my business? i'm handling it!" i say

"whatever joey, just remember, your the fuck up here." she leaves through the front door with lexi.

y/n looks at me confused, "tell me what?" . i sigh and look at her, "lexis been telling soph lies, saying that i've been flirting with her, which i wasn't, now soph thinks i'm cheating on you." i say

she gets up, "why would she do that?"

"because she has this thing for me" i say

the more i'm lying the more i'm digging my fucking grave. sophs right. i'm a fuck up.
