we were on our way to charles house. Joey was still mad, he hasn't said a word since we got in the car. soph went with kenzie.

i set my hand on his and he jumped a little.

i intertwined our fingers, "are you okay baby?" i ask him

he takes a deep breath, "i dont know. shes my little sister babe, and i dont want her -" he says before i cut him off.

"sshh. its ok joey" i say

"im sorry this happened on your day" Joey says

"baby, its ok, i promise" i say

he nods, but i knew he was still mad with himself .

i rub his thigh trying to calm him down.

"i ruined your day, i know I did" he says

"joey birlem. you did not ruin anything" i say

"please dont blame yourself, you were protecting soph." i say

we arrive at Charles house.

we get out of the car and head into Charles house.

when we came inside, there was loud music, i smelled weed and alcohol.

already?

"what the hell?" joey says

we walk over to the living room and see charles, bryce, Harvey, mark, and hunter.

"joeyyyyy!!! y/nnnn! come join" charles says

"no thanks" i say

"come on have some fun for once" bryce says

joey walks over and sits next to charles, "thats my boy!!" bryce yells

joey then starts smoking with them, i roll my eyes.

i go upstairs and wonder around. ive never been up here.

i open a door and it must be chars room. i look on the wall, it had so many pictures of our friends. i smile. those were some great memories.

someones phone then starts going off.

it was chars, he got a text. it was jacob.

i got chills. he said "you know I cant do that"

i know i shouldn't be snooping but, i wanted to know what he was talking about.

i unlocked chars phone, (it had no password)

i go to his messages and click jacobs name.

I read the messages from today :

jacob : hey can you wish y/n a Happy birthday for me?

charles : you can.

jacob : i can't.

then i read messages from 40 minutes ago.

charles : were having the party @ my place. you should stop by.

jacob : you know i cant do that.

i put chars phone back down on his bed . I leave charles's room and go downstairs.

i walk to the living room, theh were still smoking. i could already tell joey was high and a little bit drunk. great just great.

"babbuy!" Joey says when he sees me.

i roll my eyes and walk outside. i shut the door, and hear someone talking.

it was kenzie and soph.

"why aren't you guys inside?" i ask

"we dont wanna be in there with them doing that" soph rolls her eyes

"its disgusting" kenzie says

"kenz can you give me and soph a moment?" i ask

she nods and goes back inside.

"are you okay?" i ask her

"i dont know. joeys so overprotective i swear" soph crosses her arms

"its normal. i did the exact thing with Alex"

"what happened?" she asked

"i was picking him up from school, and he wasnt there. i saw his friends talking and i walked up to them and asked them where he was."

"they said he was behind the school. so i got back in my car and drove to the back of the school. and saw him kissing this girl."

" i got out of the car and pushed her off of him and call her a hoe."

soph gives me a weird look.

"dont worry i apologized the next day" i say

"did you like blake?" i ask

she nods, "we've been talking for a couple months now." she says

i pull her into a bear hug.

"its okay bb" i say

"i just wish i didn't kiss him" she sighs

"enough talking about this. lets go get something to eat inside" i say

she nods and follows me inside.

we go to the kitchen, "oo they have WAFFLES" soph says opening the freezer.

"yum" i say

soph puts two waffles in the toaster and walks back to the living room.

i make a ham and cheese sandwich with chips.

"what the fuck is wrong with you?!" i hear sophia yell

i run to the living room, and my heart immediately sank.

i see kenzie on joeys lap kissing.

i push her off of him, soph slaps joey and i do too.

"what the fuck is wrong with you?!" i yell at him. tears start filling up my eyes

"i-i" he stuttered

"you fucking bitch i swear to god ill-" soph says before i pull her back.

"y/n please i didnt" Joey says

"dont fucking touch me" i say pulling away from him.

"you never loved me?" i ask

tears ran down my face, "of course i love you! i wasnt thinking!" he says

"im sorry baby!" he says

"me too" i say

i take sophs hand and run to my car.

"i-im so sorry" she hugs me

i hug her tight

"lets go to my house" soph says

i nod my head and get in the car.

*skip the car ride*

soph unlocked the front door with her key.

"make yourself at home" she says shutting the door.

i walk up to her room and flop on her bed.

she sits next to me.

i sit there, trying to process what just happened.

"y/n?" soph waves her hand in my face.

"sorry, yes?" i say

"i order some pizza" she says

i nod and turn on a movie.

I still cant believe this.
