Tamara's POV

Taylor slowly lowered me to the ground before going to unlock the door. I stood with my back flush against the wall, already knowing what was to come. The door swung open and the pissed teacher stormed into the room. "What the hell do you think you two are doing in here?" Her shrill voice echoed in my head.

"That's none of your business," Taylor growled.

"It's most certainly is my business! Students should not be engaging in sexual activities in classrooms," she stated.

"It's not like I was screwing her," Taylor said.

"You might as well have been."

"Do you know who I am?" Taylor yelled.

"You are a student. What makes you think you have the right --" She was unable to finish due to the fact that Taylor cut her off.

"I am Taylor Anderson," he began. The colour drained from the teacher's face, leaving her ghostly white in colour. "Name ring a bell? It should do. I am the Alpha of the Moonlight Pack."

"I am so sorry Alpha," the teacher began. "You will never know how sorry I am."

"If you leave now then you won't here about it ever again," Taylor said, authority clear in his voice. Wow he was being lenient. The teacher obviously realised this and fled the classroom.

"Well... that was easy," Taylor said, amusement colouring his tone. A small laugh escaped my lips before I burst into a fit of laughter, doubling over and straightening back up again. Oh my god, I was laughing; I was actually laughing. The last time I laughed was before my parents died. If I remember rightly it was my sixth birthday. I hadn't really laughed since my sixth birthday. Of course, I had laughed since, but they were always forced. I'd never genuinely laughed since my sixth birthday. Thinking about this made me instantly depressed and my laughter merged into crying. Tears began to slide down my cheeks as sobs left my lips. Taylor's arms encircled my waist, drawing me closer to him. I buried my head in his chest, my tears staining his t-shirt. "Hey, what's wrong?" Taylor asked.

"It's nothing. I was just reminiscing, not a particularly happy memory, a rather depressing one actually," I found myself saying. Yet again I was giving him more information about me, but it felt good to get it all off of my chest.

"You want to talk about it?" he asked.

"I was just thinking that when I was laughing just now, that was the first time I've laughed since it was my sixth birthday." Another bout of tears threatened to tumble down my cheeks, but I blinked repeatedly, managing to hold them back.

"You laughed at me this morning," Taylor pointed out.

"It was a forced laugh. I mean I've never genuinely laughed since my sixth birthday," I explained, hoping it made sense. Taylor tightened his arms, holding me to him. His hands caressed my back in a soothing manner, and I could no longer be bothered to hold back my tears.

"It's okay, Tammy."

"No, it's not okay," I said, my voice quivering slightly. "I promised myself I'd forget about my past, but I just can't," I whispered.

"Come on," Taylor said, slipping his hand into mine and entwining our fingers. "We're leaving."

"What?" I asked. "We can't just leave!"

"We can. I'm the Alpha, I can do whatever the hell I want to."

"Oh, yes, I'm sorry. I forgot that you Alphas have the god complex," I said, a small smile tugging at the corners of my lips.

"You'll pay for that later," Taylor threatened.

"You want to bet?"

"I already know what the outcome will be. What's the fun in betting when I already know?"

"Cocky, arrogant bastard," I said, my tone venomous.

"Oh, are we back to name calling now? I kind of like how that ended last time. Well, before we were rudely interrupted."

"You know, sometimes I really hate you."

"I love you too," Taylor joked. I knew it was to further my anger towards him -- for some reason he seems to enjoy it when I scream at him, depending on what mood he's in -- but I didn't give him the satisfaction of my reaction. Instead, I pulled him towards the door.

"I thought we were supposed to be leaving."

"You never cease to amaze me, Tammy," Taylor told me.

"I like to keep people on their toes," I said, winking at Taylor.

"I'm going to enjoy spending time with you, Tammy," Taylor said. He tugged me out of the classroom, down the stairs and towards the exit.
