Hours passed until it was five thirty. Erica was in the bathroom getting ready for the social party tonight. I was just sitting on my bed and exploring the world wide web on my laptop.

Erica came out of the bathroom in a shining silver bralette, with a pair of strawberry pink high-waisted shorts. She looked ready for a party. The moment she lay eyes on me, her jaw dropped.

"What the - ? Lucy what're you doing? You can't go to a party in trackies and a hood!" she exclaimed.

"Yeah I am, because I'm not going," I replied.

"What do you mean you you're not going? Haven't you ever been to a party?" she asked. I scoffed.

"Yes, of course I've been to a party. I'm not a total shell," I replied.

"Well than why aren't you going? This is one of your chances to meet new people!" she said.

"I'm not going because A: I'm not a party person, and B: I don't even have any party clothes. I'm going to go shopping this weekend anyway," I replied. Erica ran over to her closet and started looking through the racks.

"Okay well until then, let's find you something to wear." she said. At that, I shot up from my bed and ran over to her.

"No, no, no, no, no, no! There is no way I can go to one of these parties! I mean students who have been here for months, if not years, go to parties. I just got here no less than five hours ago." I protested. Erica just ignored me and pulled out a red dress and a pair of heels.

"Here, try these on. You look about a size six," she said, shoving the clothes at me. I rolled my eyes and went to the bathroom, because obviously it was no use arguing with this girl. So I changed into the nice dress and expensive looking heels. Erica would probably kill me if I broke them. When I came out of the bathroom, Erica's chin practically hit the floor. Her eyes when wide and she gasped.

"Oh...my...god! Lucy! You look incredible! Come here! Come and see!" she took my hand and dragged me over to a full-length mirror so I could see myself. I had to admit, the dress was very beautiful, and it complimented my figure very nicely.

"Alright, I'll give you some points there. You picked a good choice." I said.

"I know, I always do. Now take a seat here, and let me do your make-up." she replied, then pulled me over to the couch. She sat me down, ran to the bathroom, and came back with a black bag probably filled with make up materials. I sat there for perhaps ten minutes, before she finished with my look.

"Voila! What do you think?" she asked, holding up that hand mirror. I couldn't contain my smile.

"Oh my god! That's amazing! Thank you so much Erica!" I said and went in for the hug. She gladly accepted and returned the gesture.

"You are very welcome my dear. Now come! Let's go get our party on!" she sang, then grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the dorm.

Ten minutes later, we arrived to a frat house filled to the brim with people! The house was made of bricks, and had two white staircases with maybe fifteen steps leading up to the door. Music blasted from inside, you could feel the bass vibrating through the concrete below our feet. If we could hear the music from blocks away, imagine how loud it must be inside?

Inside the house was crazy! There were people everywhere, dancing, drinking, making out. Some couples were running upstairs excitedly...you can only imagine what that means.

"Okay, so since your new here you can stick by me. But if my boyfriend comes along than I'm going to have to scram. But don't worry, because I will have my phone on, and if you get lost or if you need anything just call and I will come and find you in a split second," Erica explained.
