ALICE'S POV:-
"WAKE UP AL!!!"
"I'M ALREADY UP GRANDMA!!!!"
Well I should be up because it is my first day at Angel Grove High
This city has wide buildings, good architecture and this looks like an ideal city for many to live. But I feel strange coming to this city. Migrating from Woodslane for grandpa's treatment was a tough decision. I had enrolled in the city's best school under a scholarship. But we had no other go than to leave Woodslane and come here. I had spent 14 years of my life there and I miss that place still. The running waters, the greenery, my cycle, and Adam. Adam was my pet hamster who used to awaken me when I'm sleeping too much. He was my best pal and I had to leave him in the fields.
I decided not to sleep anymore and took a quick shower. I had to look decent in front of those flashy people. I wore a yellow shirt and blue jeans and my favorite sneakers.
Tying my hair into a high ponytail, I went downstairs for my breakfast. After eating the sandwich, I took my bag and went to meet grandpa who was busy reading the newspaper. It's hard to notice that he's undergoing a treatment because he's so lively and a happy person.
I love my grandpa ever since I was a kid. He never left me alone at anytime. He was my best friend. I went towards him and gave him a tight hug and sat beside him for some time.
"ALL SET FOR FIRST DAY AL!" he asked
"YEAH...."
"I KNOW IT'S HARD DEAR, BUT I KNOW YOU CAN MANAGE IT PRETTY WELL. AND NEVER BE AFRAID OF THE CHALLENGES, THEY ARE JUST A STEPPING STONE. BE CALM AND CONFIDENT. AND DON'T WORRY ABOUT US, WE'LL BE OKAY"
His words calmed me down as he found what was running in my mind.
And I left home.
At Angel Grove High:
"THIS AIN'T SCHOOL, THIS IS A PALACE... MAHN IT'S HUGE"
The campus is so big that it could accommodate 12 villages. All I see is huge cars, guys and girls walking in pairs and singles or assembled in groups. And the biggest question arose in my mind is how am I going to survive in such glossy atmosphere. And I walked.
I met the attender and asked for the principal's room. He gave me the instructions which took a bit time to get into my head. The route seemed like a maze, I can't blame either and I proceeded my way towards the principal's room.
As I walked, I came across the playground where I saw guys wearing black and red striped jersey, practicing real hard. It looked like they desperately wanted to win the trophy (I guess). They were so energetic. And I realized I mustn't waste my time here. And I continued walking.
The atmosphere was pretty lively and I can find people studying, doing all sorts of activities. Out of nowhere a soccer ball came and hit my head hard.
And I fell down!
(MIND VOICE- PERFECT BEGINNING TO YOUR LIFE AT ANGEL GROVE AL!)
The papers were scattered and my specs fell down.
