CHAPTER 27

Alice:
"....And you know in the end it was only me who stood in the corner of the room crying out for you. You never woke up after all that happened. But I cannot make u cry cos u know right your lil sis is tougher than she was and she will never lose you. Come back MILLY"

I totally forgot I was in the hospital room sitting beside my sister. I never told anyone except for Chloe that I had a sister who's elder to me and she was everything I had in life. The accident has changed me completely. And that happened around 2 years back. She is still in the same condition now.

Every weekend I would go and see if she's okay. I can never even think of someone as good as her. The docs lost all hope but I still believe that my sis would come back for sure.

And that was yesterday.....

The next day:

I am still with my sis and this time I felt strange, there's a change in the computer monitor and I can feel a feeble grip on my hand. My sis actually woke up.
"Doctor, Doctor!!!!"

The doctor rushed in to see the changes of ECG machine...
"She's opening her eyes... Quick get the stethoscope..."
The nurse rushed to get it...
"Doctor is everything alright..."
" Let's check...."
The doctor checked her heartbeat and it was normal... The respiration was coming back to normal.. she's opening her eyes..
" Grandma, Grandpa !!!! Millys awake..."
They came in only to see Milly slowly regaining her consciousness.

"Graand..pp...ppopp.. where am I ???"
Her voice still sounded the same...
"You're in the hospital now.."
"Hospital? Wait what happened with me? The last time I remember Tubby was about to get hit by a car in Woodslane" She was curious.
" You had an accident two years ago and you are in Angel Grove now..."
" Two years huh... Pretty long time. Btw where is Rody, Adam and my sis"
" Mill.. we aren't in Woodslane now. We are in Angel Grove. Rody, Tubby and Adam are in Woodslane. We got you here to get treated"
" But where's Al???"
I was hiding behind the doctor and made sure that it was really happening. My sister is finally awake.
" I'm here sis......"
Milly looked at me and I had nothing to do.. I've almost lost her thinking that she would never come back.

"Al! You're grown up now"
"Welcome back Mill."

Tears were filling my eyes. A
I'm seeing my sister talking and smiling after two years.
I caught her in a hug and cried out loud.... " Don't ever do that again... You know how it was so hard for me not to talk to you..... Promise me sis you would never leave me again at any cost"

" I can understand these two years had been real struggle on you. Now that I'm back for good... Don't worry I'm never gonna leave you again. I promise."

It was perhaps the best day of my life.
I remembered that I had college today so.... This was one happy moment.
"Mill. You need some rest and I am gonna go to college... See you in evening. I'll come soon."

"Okay.... Bye."
I ran from the hospital with my bag to my home and immediately changed my dress. And ran to a candy shop and purchased few Toblerone minis and ran away to my class.
I've already informed my mam I'd be coming late and I went and reported to her.

Our group would have lunch at a common spot at Angel Grove youth center....

"..... And that's how Cristina started talking..."
I ran to them, but overexcitement has made me tumble and fall

"Oh gosh Al... Why so hurry..." Harry helped me up
"Here have it" I gave everyone a Toblerone.
" Woah you look happy today.." asked Grace curiously
" Yea whats with the candies" Sophie asked me
" I've got big news for you all..."
"What... What is it???" Dan asked
"My sister woke up after two long
years😃😃😃😄"
" That's so cool Allie" Rowan hugged
" I'm so happy for you."
" Okay so was she hibernating or something. I mean Who sleeps for two years at a stretch🤔?"

"Yes she was ..... Cos I need a company to kill someone as obnoxious and annoying as you are 😬"
"...... That's rude😐....." He sounded like Sheldon
" And what's more is that.... She wants to see you guys so I'll bring her over here tomorrow" I said them
" Allie... Wait... You don't have to bring her... We ll come over.... She's jus got up from coma and she needs rest."
Rowan's suggestion was correct. She jus woke up and not completely alright....
"Oh I didn't know that.... I'm sorry Al.... Well I'm happy for you in the real sense"
"It's okay Soccerhead....Anyways now that you said... I am gonna have a small get together there. It's just us...and my sis. I'll call Sam, Adele and George too. So do come tomorrow" my idea seemed perfect
Jacob gave a weird smile as he didn't understand anything" But on what OCCASSSION???"
" The return of Milly Josephine Carmel"

Okay guys I gotta go... See u soon...
Ive called Sam and George by going to that ship... They agreed... I called Adele, Preston and Katherine too.

Next day:
The party.....
The arrangements went on perfectly and I had everything sorted... It wasn't a party jus a get together and sharing our happiness as my sister is back from death.

Everyone came and my classmates are yet to come.
There they are.
Everyone arrived on time...
And my sister was ready too.

Dan:
I never knew Al had a sister and so I was curious on knowing who's she. So everyone were inside. All of them know us . So no worries..

"Hey guys.... I'm glad all of you came. Thank you.... " Al was smiling bright....
I have never seen her this happy. Not even when she's got the first mark.

" Aww it's okay.... We're your friends after all.... Btw where is Milly..." I asked her
" Well she's in her room.... Btw where's Rowan."

Rowan ... He was right here.... Where did he go...
" Get out of here you sneaky creature!!!!!!"
"What's that noise?" Harry yelled
" It's coming from upstairs."
"Milly!" Al ran upstairs and we all followed her....
And door was already opened...
It was Rowan and Milly up on the bed
Milly was petrified and Row was removing it here...
"Phew....😌that snakes gone. U okay now?" Rowan asked her...
Sophie intervened- " okay what's going on in here..."
" Rowan how did u get here???"
Rowan was confused with the questions...
Waittt!! You guys allow him to speak...
"Okay so I was going to kitchen and I heard a text message ..... It was from my mom and she wanted me to call her. Since it was noisy downstairs I had to come up to talk to her and then I heard this lady yell and I entered room and there was this big snake on the floor and so I took it off"
" How did a snake enter in here???" Al was still confused...
"Are you okay sis?"
"Yea I'm okay now...."
" So guys this is my elder sister Milly Josephine Carmel or maybe just Milly...."
"Hey" we all said unanimously
"... And Mimi these r my friends....
That's Sam, Harry, Jacob, George Sophie,Grace, Chloe, Dan and that's  Rowan"
" Wow .... Such cool people you see... Nice to meet you all... I'm Milly. I am thankful that Al's made such good friends"
" Aww isn't she the unique one of the lot.... It's a pleasure to meet you Milly ". Everyone were speaking and I found one thing unique in these sisters... Their expressiveness. They are poles apart. Al is a kid at heart and Milly she's mature and sensible and I'm so happy that she's got her sis back.
While the conversation was going on, I found one thing weird. Rowan literally looking at Milly... After that things over.. I find his behaviour weird. Looks like he's attracted to Milly.
I went to him and asked
" Hey man..... Anything wrong"
  He was still lost in her
"Row.... Rowan.... "
Still the same expression
" Rowan!"
He snapped out of his daydreaming.
" Oh hey.... It's nothing, jus the arrangements and that's it..."
"Ooohhhh I can sense you like her Don't you ???"
" Are you kidding me... I jus saw her... There's no way I can fall at first sight!"
"Okay I'll see you later then..."
And I went to my team and met grandma and grandpa as well.....
