ALICE'S INTERVIEW AT SURF SPOT - HER WORK PLACE

It was Saturday... thankfully we didn't had school on Saturdays, except for few Saturdays that were meant for some rehearsal stuffs.

I had an appointment with the manager of the surf spot today, I had taken all the required documents and I left to the stall.

AT SURF SPOT:

It was a café where youngsters of my age hangout and I find many of them from my school chilling out with their friends. They must be my seniors.

"Hello there young lady." A voice from behind

She was a lady of 45-50 years having a dark complexion and an average height.

"You must be Alice."

Then I realized she must be the lady who spoke to me over the phone. I greeted her.

"Good day madam I'm Alice Carmel."

"Good day dear and you need not call me madam. You can call me Adele"

Without any second thought I showed her my resume stating my professionalism etc.

"Your profile seems to be interesting and you want to do a part time job isn't it. Well congratulations young lady, you can join from today. All you need is to follow these rules and regulations and you have to work for at least a year."

"Sure ......" I replied without any hesitation

I was overjoyed and I immediately informed my grandparents about my job.

Today is my first day at the workplace. I was pretty excited. I got myself a uniform which comprised of a cap, green t-shirt and an apron. Doing a double duty isn't an easy task.

Adele took me to the kitchen to introduce me to the cooking staff; most of them are of my age.

"Alice?" a voice from behind

It was an utter surprise as I saw my close friend there...

"Chloe? What are you doing here?"

"Al! What a surprise!" Chloe came there and hugged me and I asked her and I came to know that she works here as well, but as a head chef and a part time receptionist... She handles the dessert section and the starters' one...

I am finally glad that I have found someone whom I know personally and Adele has appointed me as the waitress and receptionist.

My first day at job was pretty much enthralling and it was good to be exposed to such a different environment. My work shift ended at 8.30 pm and that would be my regular time every day.

I returned home at around 9.30 pm since surf spot was around 5 kilometers away from my house. Grandma served me dinner and I went to my room. I took my phone and started messaging my old school mates and I found no one was online. I was too tired and I kept everything aside and I slept peacefully ...

I miss my pet Adam ...... when nobody was home he used to cuddle and play with me and her... I miss both of them so much.

WHO WAS HER? WHAT MADE ALICE CRY THINKING ABOUT HER? IS SHE SOME KIND OF A SPECIAL FRIEND? TUNE IN FOR SOME MORE UPDATES
