CHAPTER 14

 SO IN THE UPCOMING CHAPTERS  YOU ARE GONNA SEE A DIFFERENT ALICE. SHE'LL BE THE USUAL NERD WITH A TINCTURE OF SOMETHING THAT IS TOTALLY UNEXPECTED FROM HER PLACE.

ALICE:

AFTER ALL HE WAS THE ONE WHO WAS BESIDE ME WHENEVER I WAS DOWN AND HE PACIFIED ME.

I couldn't stay any longer and went straight to him and punched on his stomach and I forgave him. Come on, misunderstandings do happen and this is the first time and I've interpreted it in a wrong way. To be honest, I was burning inside seeing that brat kissing him. I don't know for what reason why I am behaving in an odd manner.

That night the work at surf spot was extended. I was made to do double duty as I was on medical leave all these days. Adele and Preston were the only ones. Preston left before Adele and only we were there. There were few fortune cookies gifted by a Chinese customer to Adele.

"YOUNG Lady, you believe in fortune cookies?" Adele asked me out of curious.

"Actually no, because I never saw one and I never believed in that." That was the truth.

"Now come here and try one out" she called me here

"Ok"

I can't refuse her as it was one of the biggest things what she gave me. She acted a motherly figure to me and always stood by my reasons though I was childish. I took one and handed it to her.

"Ok so here it goes"

She broke the cookie and saw a paper.

"Well it says- the love of your life is soon gonna rule your heart and he's yours"

"THE LOVE OF MY LIFE?" I was shocked as I never had any bfs before and now. And there are less chances of me having a boyfriend.

"Alice, I'm sure he's around you somewhere, yet to show up himself."

Adele sounded pretty confident and she told me to go as it became too late.

As I was walking down on the streets in cold winter nights, I felt strange by my surroundings. There weren't any buses around and so I had to walk till the next bus stop. I felt as if someone's following me. I took my steps fast and tried to run away. I ran till the maximum distance possible and as I turned around, there wasn't anyone. I sighed and I was relaxed now and as I walked I was hit to something strong. It was a gang of robots, aluminum bodies, having a weird weapon and headed by slender chick lass.

"WHO ARE YOU?"

"I'M ASTRONEMA, PRINCESS OF DARKNESS, COMING FROM THE OUTER SPACE"

She looked real evil. It must be one of Jenny's vengeful tacts.

"SO MISS ASTRO... WHATEVER YOU NAME IS ... WHAT DO YOU WANT?"

"I'VE GOT TO KNOW YOU HAVE SOMETHING THAT'S REAL IMPORTANT TO US! GIVE IT AND I'LL SPARE YOU"

I had something what they want. All I had with me was this hamburger. They had to be so poor that they scare people whoever comes in their way.

"HERE, TAKE THIS. THIS IS ALL I HAVE RIGHT NOW. LET ME GO NOW ATLEAST."

"YOU ARE REALLY ANNOYING. THIS IS NOT WHAT I WANTED AND WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU ARE GOING. QUADROTS ATTACK HER"

Those aluminum bodies- they were robots and they tried attacking me.

I am no less than anyone here, I smashed few robots head and the pile kept on increasing. I gave up. I shouted for help.

(shoot)

What was that, who shot these?

Some random anonymous guy wearing a helmet and a costume. He even shot the robots and I was about to fall, he held my hand. His grip was strong and his touch gave me some sort of chills down the spine. He held my waist and stopped me from falling. I couldn't look into his eyes, as he was wearing a helmet. He caressed my face and I don't know it made me feel happy deep within. My cheeks turned into the shade of red and I was blushing without my knowledge. As he was about to leave

"Wait, Who Are You?" I asked him

"Just think me of someone who always protects innocent people like you in trouble" the anonymous guy replied.

But before I could say anything he left from there and I was there standing all alone. I rushed to home, had my dinner and went to the bedroom.

My thoughts were constantly struck on the guy who saved me. He was wearing a black helmet, his grip was too strong, his caressing got some sort of butterflies in my tummy and his voice, though it was so deep, it had some mystery hidden within.

I remembered Chloe's words about the Space Defense Force. He must be one of them. According to what she said, the team arises only when we are in trouble and they appear as BLUE, YELLOW, PINK, and RED AND BLACK.

And I just met the black guy and he was too mysterious yet charming, but who could it be? Adele's words of the fortune cookie flashed my mind. I found myself slowly falling for the anonymous mysterious guy in black. And I think he's the one whom the cookies were talking about. I am really falling for him and the situation is as such that the song by Elvis Presley ,is relatable to my emotional confusion yet happiness. maybe it is love. but i have to be sure of my feelings before i do something idiotic... dumb me

Not because he saved me, he had some aura that got me closer to him, and my thoughts were deepening. Maybe this is what they call blind date with love at first sight..."

I had to sleep as there was class tomorrow...

sorry this chapter was a little short, i'll try writing it lengthier the next chapter.THE SONG ABOVE IS PLAYED IN THE BACKGROUND. IT'S I CANT HELP FALLING IN LOVE WITH YOU BY ELVIS PRESLEY
