CHAPTER 23

HER FIRST MOVIE DATE:

ALICE:

It is finally Saturday, which i had kept myself free for my first movie. Chloe was the savior of the day, I called her to my place to select an apt dress for the occasion. However, it was just a casual movie outing and nothing more than that.  

My grandparents went for a wedding and they will be coming two days from today. And they knew about my movie screening only to be convinced by Chloe that she's also with me.

Chloe helped me getting ready. I wore a rather simple dress. But then I am already sick and then too i wanted to get ready for the movie. My face was dull, no mater how much i tried looking good because i was having fever. i had an antibiotic.

"Are you sure of this Al? I mean you're sick and you still wanna watch this movie"
I agree I was sick.. I was suffering from fever but then this is something I don't wanna miss.

"Okay so you're all set for your date my girl..." Chloe smirked..
"I have told u this isn't any date it's just a movie screening.." I tried to defend it
"Whatever you say and take your medicines with you. Make sure you don't fall asleep in the movie" she tried to be bossy ...
"I LL try my best not to fall" and I hear my phone ringing  and it was him

"Hello"
"You ready?"
"Yea kind of. Where are you?"
"Outside your house with a cab... You know it's winter and I'm freaking shivering here"
"Alright I'm coming don't freeze to death 👀"
Seeing the way I spoke to her she gave me a weird glare ....
"You know he doesn't like when people are late to any occasion.." she said while having Soda and she's saying it after I am actually late..
" And u r saying it after I am late... Darn it..😣.. okay I'm leaving now.. I'll see u next class bye.." and I rushed out of the door.

As I stepped out of my house, I could see a cab and he was standing out of it freezing in this cold weather... I was feeling terribly cold even after wearing blazers and mufflers.. because of the fever...
But he looked casual, not the ideal date setup..
"I am so sorry, it's with the blazer."
"It's okay now we need to go"
He opened the door and I stepped in.. everyone in the city were busy buying things for their family.

We reached the theater. Thankfully it wasn't much of rush there. We grabbed popcorn and cold drinks... He had one of those soft drinks.
I felt tired and giddy..
"Hey you ok??" He asked me looking worried .
" Yeah I am okay, jus the normal sleeping time, so felt sleepy" I pretend to yawn
"You know we can see this movie some other time if you are not in proper mood and health."
"NO!!! I mean I want to see this movie at any cost even if u don't want to join me.🙄🙄"
"Okay we go now. Movie's gonna start."

The movie started and it went on smooth...
The scene shifted to the first date of Landon and Jamie..

The way Landon kissed Jamie made me go bananas ( excited way) I began to think of my own way of getting loved by someone like Landon. But then... I heard sniffles
I turned around to find no one... But then I looked at the front seat there's this gal crying... I thought not to ask her.. everyone is moved by the tsundere.

It was so good to have someone like this in his life that changed him for good. I hear sniffles again and it's at a closer proximity...
"Jamie 😢" . I looked at my right side and found it was my dumbhead best friend who's crying and I gave a peculiar expression 🤷🤷🤷.

Once the movie was over, I thought to go home as it was past 12.. he dropped me to my home. I felt weak every minute in that cold winter night.
" So I'll see u in the headquarters. Bye" he was about to leave..
"Thanks for that movie executive and I heard you sniffling... Dont worry.. why don't you have some hot chocolate... The yummiest drink for this cold night. Come on in"
We came in... I found Chloe s letter saying that she left to her home. Making him sit in the couch I went to the kitchen and started preparing hot chocolate. But my body felt weaker and I passed out...
