Chapter 17

*MACKENZIE'S POV*

"I don't know, I think I know where he is" I walked upstairs and checked every room when I came down to the last door. I heard some people talking I turned the knob slowly to see Hayes with... a girl I didn't know.

"Hayes what are you exactly doing!" I yelled

"Kenzie, babe it's not what it looks like" he said coming closer

"Who is this hoe" I screamed with tear running down my cheeks

"Hey I'm not hoe unlike you ms. Slut" the girl I still don't know the name of

"She's my-my ex-girlfriend Sophia" he said that's all I had to hear

"Well have fun with her because she your new girlfriend were done" I scream I ran down stair. I could hear Hayes voice calling from a diytance. It's hard running in heels so I stumbled a few times. I bumped into a tall figure. It was Gabe

"You ok? have to been crying?" I nodded to both questions. He engulfed me into a hug and I sobbed into his shoulder.

*HAYES'S POV*

When I introduced Kenzie to the guys I lost her in the crowd she could handle herself right? I was dancing to my jam 'Classic by MKTO' when someone pulled me aside. It was Sophia

"Soph babe where are you" I called out walking upstairs her stairs to her room. I opened the door to see my first love my first Girlfriend Sophia Alveras making out with my Best Friend Sebastian Plascencia

"Oh Hayes baby um you see I don't like you anymore I like sebbie" she said hugging him

"Dude I thought you were my friend my best friend to pacific" I said yelling

"Well you thought wrong I only became friends with you so I can get close to Soph and it worked" he said kissing her lips. I was heart broken

"Um Hayes can you leave we want to be alone" when this happened I thought I would never love another girl again

She pulled me into a room I've never been in

"Sophia what are you doing here" I asked angrily

"I'm here so celebrate my baby's birthday duh" she said pinning me on the bed.

"Get off where your boyfriend Sebastian" I said struggling to get out

"Oh I broke up with him because I've missed you baby let's get back together" she pleaded

"One I have a girlfriend Two I would never get back together with you Three we don't live in the same state anymore" then she kissed me I did not miss this. I don't even know why I went out with her. I was desperate.

When I was trying to pull away Kenzie walked in I could see the tears rolling down her cheek.

"Hayes what are you exactly doing!" She yelled

"Yes she is the most beautiful I have ever seen now leave and don't ever come back!" I yelled as I was furious.

I ran downstairs to find Kenzie. I Ran up to Alyssa to ask if she saw her she said she saw her leave with Gabe. Gabe is a good guy but he's a player. I walked out the to the North Carolina summer wind to see Gabe and Kenzie walking along the beach.

"Mackenzie! Mackenzie!" when I finally got close enough to touch her

"What do want Hayes aren't you suppose to be with your girlfriend" she said turning around who Gabe's arm on her shoulder

"I need to explain"

*MACKENZIE'S POV*

Me and Gabe were having an awesome time talking to each other while walking in the beach. When that voice interrupted everything.

"What do want Hayes aren't you suppose to be with your girlfriend" I said turning around who Gabe's arm on her shoulder

"I need to explain" he said " alone"

"You'll be ok right?" Gabe asked while rubbing my arm i nodded and he walked back inside

"You have one minute" I said crossing my arms

"Ok well I was dancing when Sophia, the first girl to ever break my heart, pulled me into a room she pinned me on the bed and kissed me. When me and you kiss I feel fireworks unlike her i felt nothing" he said I felt a tear roll down my cheek and I sniffed.

"I'm really sorry i would never cheat on you" I could tell he wasn't lying.

"But you just did but with your ex" I said looking down

"No I did not she kissed me I swear please forgive me I can't live without you please" then he started to cry

"I forgive you just don't do that ever again and I won't forgive you this time" I said hugging him

"Really? you do? you Know I mean every word when I say I LOVE YOU MACKENZIE" he yelled the last part I giggled still in his arms.

"Come on lets ditch this party and come to my house and have a lazy day is that alright" he said putting his arm around my shoulder I nodded

We were half way to his house when something or someone hit me I fell the sidewalk then I hit my head really hard. I head Hayes screaming my name and holding my hand but I couldn't move then I blackout.

*HAYES POV*

"Come on lets ditch this party and come to my house and have a lazy day is that alright" I said putting my arm around her shoulder she nodded

We were half way to my house when someone knock Kenzie over she hit her head on the sidewalk. I saw her eyelid close very slowly. I screamed Kenzie's name when Nash came up with her sister

"CALL THE AMBULANCE!"I yelled Nash took out his phone and called them

"They're be here in a few minutes" he said. I picked her up in my arm bridal styles and just cried my eyes out. I heard the ambulance they asked who should ride in the car with her Keyoni said I can. They put Kenzie the gurty and left I was holding her hand the whole time. How could this happen who was that boy who didn't have the nerve to look back. When I find him I'm kick the balls out of him.
